We are glad to read that you liked the view from you room and your breakfast experience. Please allow me to highlight few points based on your comments: First of all, the alcohol servce - we regret that we could not meet all your expectations as we are a hotel apartment hotel wherein there is no alcohol service. All hotel apartments are not allowed to serve alcohol, in line with UAE’s rules and regulations. Upon future visit, our front desk colleagues are able to guide you to one of our sister properties nearby where they serve alcohol. Second, We are working on the beach shuttle service to and from the hotel and hopefully it will be completed soon. In the meantime, our Front Desk Team can always assist to book a taxi. Third, VAT (Value added tax) of 5% has been implemented in the UAE recently. The 20% tax for room service that you mentioned which is of 10% municipality fee and 10% service charge, again is mandatory that all hotels in UAE to charge complying with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) requirement. Lastly, this is to inform you that we are in almost completion of the renovation to improve guest experience. Our hotel will be converted to a more modern look with light colors and simple designs with different feel. We hope you will be the first ones to experience these new and exciting developments.
