The place is unfit for anyone. Thank you Expedia for helping me too secure a full refund. One room smelt like bottles of perfume had been spilt. Room number 2 smelt like Marijuana. Room 3 was mildew. Man at the desk said that I was too sensitive. He had never met anyone like me before. He suggested that I get a can of air spray and open the window. I did not stay there. No one should. Expedia and all the others should take them off the list. Horrible is mild for this place.

When I arrived, I checked in and went immediately to my room because after a long drive, I was in need to use the restroom. When I got to the room, I lifted the lid of the toilet and there someone left a very nasty, bowel deposit unflushed. I flushed the stool and there was dried poop all over the bowl. I immediately went to the front desk to report the problem and he changed my room to. So I went to my new room, that stool had been flushed… But there was poop dried in the bowl as well. I went to the front desk to report this and He returned to that room with me and then clean the bowl himself. I then used the restroom, then there was only enough paper on the roll for one setting. The toilet paper roll holder was taped to the wall with what look like medical tape. (I have pictures). I returned to the front desk and asked for more toilet paper for the room. I went to get ice to put in the bucket. There was no bag to put in the bucket. When I pick the bucket up, there was filth on the outside of the bucket. I returned to the front desk, showed him the bucket and asked to please have a new bucket and bag. I believe he washed the bucket because the filth was gone, and the bucket was wet. The floors in the room were filthy. (pictures). The floors have not been swept, or mopped. The mirror in the bathroom had not been cleaned. All in the first 10 mins of arrival. I only stayed 2 of the 3 nights. Refund pending for 1 night per the manager. More details but can’t.

I stayed there 4 nights and every night really considered moving. I was there for a conference and really didn't have time to move, so I stayed. This motel wasn't clean, there was grim on most of the shelves, fridge was dirty, even toilet wasn't properly cleaned. I was alone, but had I been with my wife, definitely we would have moved. The hall was not vacuumed, the stairs were filthy too.

We arrived after dark and needed to sleep befofe we continued traveling. There were several people loitering and smoking near the entrance and some older/run down vehicles when we arrived. Everything smelled like smoke, was outdated, beds were not comfortable, things seemed... not quite clean (there were also ants). In the morning there were some kids that were sweeping cigarette butts outside. This did not feel like a particularly safe place to stay on a family vacation. We couldnt get out fast enough! We visited a nearby attraction, this reservation was in the mid-price range. I guess i didnt realize red roof inn wasnt a decent place to stay. Worst booking ever. Never again red roof inn. Never again.

Check-in was slow. Room seemed clean. My grandson had trouble sleeping due to noisy people in hall after midnight. In the morning we found many dead bugs from one in the bed, several on floor and window ledge when the curtains were opened. Told clerk when turning key in and she said she would let management know. We will not stay here again.

There was damage to the inside of the room: peeling paint on most of bathroom door, parts of wall broken in bathroom, moldy smell in room. The main hallway to the room smelled of urine. The main door of room did not shut properly.

This was a last minute fatigue of driving necessary rest hotel stay. Rain and construction feels life threatening after awhile. So you pull off and attempt walk in room requests as you go, due to Kentucky sports activities everything was booked south of this location. On chance the online offer was found I booked to be off the road .so low expectations were already set. However in the room holes in walls bathroom had been repaired it seems , and the room door deadbolt would not rotate into position , then looking at other room door exterior lock damage told me that police raid damage was likely. Cleaning also on the low level not the worst I've seen in 40 years of road travel but the first unsecurable room. I did not address with desk staff , because if they put you in this room they knew the mgmt upkeep of property is what it is and a room move will be either nothing or nonexistent. Morning staff stated checkout with hotels.com bookings cannot be given receipt , demanded at least minimum the check in sheet reprint. Staff really not to blame here...
