«We booked this hotel for the evening as we had a concert at Acrisure. The room was well appointed and clean. The location was perfect to walk to dinner and then to the concert. We had drinks and an appetizer in the hotel lobby prior to dinner and a late night drink in the Lumber Baron bar when we returned from the show. Both experiences were lovely. Had a quick lunch at The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck before heading home. We live locally, but have not stayed here since our wedding night 26 years ...

«We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed.
One of the highlights of our stay was watching the fireworks from the Jdek. It was such a fun experience, and the food they served was absolutely amazing. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

«Very mediocre hotel. It was okay for a one night stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer than that. I personally like to use the gym but the treadmill was very finicky and the bike didn’t work at all. The entire 2nd floor hallway and our room smelled like cigarette smoke, and the floor of our hotel room was sticky.
On the bright side, the staff were friendly and helpful, and they have a little breakfast bar in the mornings with bagels, cereal, muffins, etc. which was nice.»
