«We traveled to Fermiselle to trace my family roots as my great grandfather immigrated to Cuba from there in the 1920’s. To say that the manager was accommodating would be an understatement. He took me and my father to the house where my great grandfather and aunts lived. We drove around town talking to anyone who would remember the family. It was wonderful!! Not sure why no one installs solar water heaters on a nearby roof top to heat the pool as it would be fairly inexpensive investment. Also wonder why most of all shower enclosures in Europe leak water onto the floor.»

«Our apartment was very modern but the property still has a very historic and, especially, authentic country feel. Very much appreciated the wood stove at that time of year. Only critique was lack of any American TV. While we don't particularly travel to Portugal to watch TV, when we stay in country places at this time year we don't relish driving after dark. Next time we'll know to have our tablet ready for movies.»
