Ok rom men det trengs en oppgradering.
Hotellet berer preg av å være gammelt, noe som man også merker på rommet. Spessielt på badet er dette tydelig, med gammeldags dusj og toalett. Internett virker ganske bra i forhold til regionen, men vel og merke om du velger premium internett som har et tillegsgebyr. Maten på hotellet er ikke bra og flere ganger så kom maten min brent... Jeg syns hotellet er meget overpriset og mat og drikke er dyrere en i Norge.

Hôtel vieillissant qui a perdu sa carte Accor. Interruption de l’électricité pendant 3h. Service un peu lent mais toujours extrêmement aimable.

30 years ago... maybe!!!!
For such price the room should be at least clean! and the staff try always to cheat saing that the room must be paid when it's clearly written "PRE_PAID"!!! the room smell too bad. i slept with my clothes. Anymore

This is worse than 2* in Europe
The hotel lacks maintenance, the reception staff is not friendly and not well trained. Their site shows a nice fitness room, which is not in the hotel. This hotel should be part of the “ibis budget” chain instead of the pullman group. They’re just not on par with the brand while they charge you fully for it.

I was staying on a short business trip and the hotel was in good location to reach my meetings. Efficient pick up and drop off at airport and WiFi which is important while travelling was good.

Would not recommend
The hotel is outdated, especially the bathrooms, and the bed linen are very worn out. On the floor I stayed there was a very persistent smell of old humidity. A leak also caused flooding of numerous rooms in the hotel, including the lobby. The staff was not particularly accommodating to resolve any problems.

Staff are confused
The price quoted on Expedia is not respected. Staff kept me for 2 hours hostage in order to resolve the price disparity! They claimed it was my fault because such a price is not possible! Do not book this hotel through a third party! It’s a scam!

Good hotel for the area
The hotel was nice for the area. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked. The pool area was relaxing and the pizzas were excellent. The lobby is a little dated and had water dripping from the ceiling due to the humidity. There were several good restaurants and shopping within walking or a short taxi ride.

Restauration aux prix parisiens: Petit déjeuner à 20 euros cher, le plus cher du Cameroun? Chambre sentait le moisi, fenêtre condamnée, pourquoi? Taxi à la sortie qui "attendent le blanc" pour lui proposer des courses 300% plus chères que dans rue. La direction de l'hôtel avance toujours le même argument: la sécurité... Pas de salle de sport mais belle piscine

Our check in time was not so pleasant as hotel was trying to downgrade us due to the rate we paid through Hotels.com Their reservations system need to work more closely with all the websites their hotel is listed to prevent such disagreements. After several back and fourth, we were finally given a more reasonable room! Our stay was overall good. The maintenance of the hotel is quite lacking!

A hotel that tries hard and only just makes the gr
This is an hotel that tries had because it has to. Food is good and the breakfast buffet sparse but adequate. The hot buffet in not for non-Cameroonians. The only thing available for the more Western taste was eggs to order and pancakes. Dinners were good and the freshly baked bread rolls were a treat. Rooms are small but clean and adequate. Service, not great and smiles were few and far between. The area around the hotel is safe enough but there is no reason to venture out. Nothing to do, see or buy.

Pullman Douala - Wonderful stay
The overall experience was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpfull. Rooms are not great, but for Douala standards it was above average. Will stay there again.

vous pouvez trouver moins cher a 200m de cet hotel!!!!! j ai eu des problèmes de carte bleue bloquee , j en ai parle 1 jour avant mon depart a la reception , et la personne ne trouve rien de mieux que de me bloquer le code d acces a la chambre!!!!!! j ai pu me faire envoyer des especes par 1 amie en France et la seulement , la reception a debloque l ouverture de la chambre!!!!! puis le lendemain ma femme a quitte l hotel avec 1 facture supplementaire?????.... personnel de l accueuil tres desagreable..... chambre digne d 1 2 etoiles en France , avec en prime des blattes , climatisation bruyante , restaurant hors de prix .........

Conveniently located with dedicated staff
Compared to most hotels in Douala, the quality of service of the Meridien is superior. While the hotel is conveniently located, its infrastructure and amenities need some upgrade. It was pleasing to see that the hotel management is working toward that. The staff is well trained, courteous and very professional. The rooms are cleaned although the room rate remain high compared to international standards. Overall the stay at the hotel is pleasant
