Beautiful location on the water…. Can’t beat that. The house leaves some to be desired, but it will work well for certain visitors and for certain uses.
We had two families staying. One family enjoyed, but the other family has mildew/mold sensitivity and felt the smell of the place indicated mold or mildew and might so long term damage so ended up spending $700 for nearby hotel for sleeping, and just hung out with family on screened in porch during the visits. It’s a decently priced lake house where you can tell it was likely a mobile home with a converted porch and an added-on master & bath… different floor heights, low ceilings, uneven floors, feels pretty old. But for the price, and as long as you don’t have specific issues with mildew smells, it’s a good choice for many. I appreciate the communication of the manager, and check in was easy. Was stocked with many things we needed (although all the hand soaps were almost empty and we had to buy some). Also note that ice maker doesn’t work, so bring your own.
