«We stayed for 6 days at Handun Villas and we are extremely happy with the stay. The hotel is built around an old dutch manor, being the center piece and main building of the hotel. Spread throughout the fenced-in area are various cottages / villas which is the rooms you stay in. The architectural style looks amazing and invites relaxation and a cozy atmosphere. «The place is difficult to find, after booking they should send an email with a map to get there. The room is basic but clean. Good size room and bathroom. There is a fan but not a/c and during the night it is quite hot. Only cold water. There is a mosquito net but it is too short so mosquitoes get in the sleeping area. Basic breakfast with bread, jam, bananas and tea. They could provide sri Lankan breakfast if requested. It is possible to use a sort of sun bed provided at the first ...

«Had an amazing experience at DipnDoze.
The property was very clean and cosy, very close to the beach, and great value for money.
The staff was excellent, they were very friendly and made it a very smooth stay. Amenities were good, clean washrooms and air-con!
Would recommend it for solo travellers. »

«Beautiful hotel with stunning views. The staff were attentive and the food was delicious. There was so much to do - yoga, meditation, beach, pool, painting, pottery, movies etc. We were sad we could only stay for 2 nights!»

«I had a wonderful stay at Wild Roots! I stayed for 6 nights. Room was spotless. Great AC. Kettle with tea and coffee. Spacious bathroom with a hot shower. Loved the balcony. Location is ideal. One minute walk to the stunning beach, but just off the busy main road. Staff were incredibly friendly. Always available both before and during my stay. Nothing was too much bother. Helped arranged drivers for me. Would absolutely stay again. »
