«We travelled with our adult son to hike in the nearby Eryri National Park. The owner greeted us upon arrival and very thoughtfully upgraded our rooms! Lola, the dog, was so friendly and extremely well behaved. The place is beautifully and freshly decorated. The two bedrooms we saw were unique, comfortable and well equipped. «This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive. ...
