Voco hotels regularly, and this is the best I’ve stayed in by far. The staff were absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough for you. Friendly, polite and helpful. I genuinely can’t recommend this hotel enough.

It was our first time staying in Qatar and Voco Hotel. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, courtesy, and kindness of the staff. Nothing was too difficult for anybody. From booking cab to church at 5am in the morning, prompt valet service to preparing delicious food for our breakfast or preparing birthday surprise for me. People who delivered outstanding service were Aicha and her whole restaurant team and Said with reception crew and the valet service team. Thank you.

Go if you like to party at night instead of sleep
I travel often to Doha but this has been my worst hotel experience so far. Someone staying in the room in front of mine was partying the whole night (20+ guests in his room walking in and out in the corridor, loud music, etc.). When I complained to the hotel management in the middle of the night they pretty much did not do anything, except politely telling him once to reduce the noise level. When I went the next day to speak to hotel management, they told me that the person staying in the room is a "long term resident", and then they even had the audacity to tell me that "he has friends coming from far away"; which apparently seems to be a valid justification to prevent other people from sleeping. I had to ask the hotel to move to another room, they gave me a similar one, I had to move all of my stuff and I did not receive any compensation, whether financial or in terms of upgrade. A commercial gesture which would have been appreciated, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a booking of two rooms that I have asked over the phone to be connected. Front office were kind enough to upgrade one of the rooms to a suite. I arrived at Iftar time. the restaurant took more than 25 minutes to serve our food, however the food was good. the bathroom in the room was too small. I did not like flooring as I prefer carpet or parquet. in the last day, at 12 pm a gentleman from front desk called me to ask about my checkout time while bluntly reminding me of how nice he was to upgrade one of my rooms.

We stayed here for a long weekend to go to the MotoGP at Losail. The hotel was recently renovated and is now called "VOCO". We received a warm welcome on arrival and the staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location of the hotel isn't too bad either- 10minute walk to DECC metro and 2 shopping centres, one including Carrefour supermarket. The room itself was spacious, had a lovely large comfy bed, wonderful view and lots of facilities including a nice coffee machine, microwave, 2 ring electric hob, saucepan, crockery and cutlery. There was also a washing machine! Breakfast was good too with a nice variety of hot and cold items. It was our first time at Doha so unable to compare this hotel to other hotels in the area, though we enjoyed our stay here.

Friendly Staff, Safe, Excellent location, They clean well but not the fine details if you so picky in cleaning like I am.

It was exceptionally wonderful experience right from the security to the receptionist, room service, the chef and the restaurant staff are great people. The game room was totally fun and the city view from the room is breathtaking…..

It was situated close to the mall and other dining and shopping. Room was average to slightly above average. Definitely some age and wear on the room but was in decent condition.

Excellent hotel. Parents stayed here for 15 day quarantine stay. Their stay was very comfortable and quarantine food was of great quality as well. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting doha !
