Great staff!
We were offerets a standard room at the 5th floor - which turned out to be right beneath the AC’s at the roof. Unbelievably noisy! We were offered a new room (turned out to be a suite) instead - thank you very much!! Staff is great - and so was the rest of our stay. Good value for money hotel!

Ok value for money!
Stayed two periods. First room at third floor was ok, but the room we got in 5th was terribly noisy - right below the AC at the roof. Staff were able to find alternative room - even a free upgrade, so it all ended good thanks to great staff! Gym and jacuzzi is limited but ok, but the pool area is in the shades early and has limited space. Breakfast and staff excellent! Fair deal - you get what you pay for, but avoid 5th floor!

Rask innsjekk og hyggelig personale. Da vi overnattet var det en del arbeid i områdene rundt, men det gjorde ikke at det ble for mye støy. Relativt kort vei til Souq Waqif og Museum of Islamic Art. Benyttet treningssenteret og bassenget, helt kurant om du ikke er alt for nøye på apparat/vektutvalget. Testet ikke frokost og andre mattilbud.

Et godt sted å bo på.
Det generelle inntrykket er godt. Rommene var store, sengene gode, badene var gode og renholdet var meget godt. Restauranten, frokost og middag, var god og maten var meget god. Resepsjonen og servicen var meget god, de var behjelpelig med alt vi spurte om. Det som trekker ned, var savnet etter et uteområde. Svømmebassenget var ok, men området rundt kunne vært holdt litt bedre. Det kommer av at det var forholdsmessig mange duer der. Savnet litt mer vasking/spyling av dette området. Plasseringen er meget sentral. gangavstand til souken, museene, cornich road.

Gangavstand til MIA
Jeg valgte dette hotellet utelukkende for nærheten til Museet for islamsk kunst da jeg var så heldig å få en stopover i Doha innenfor museets åpningstider. Det var bare en kort spasertur til museet og lyskryss så man kom seg over den sterkt trafikkerte cornichen. Etterpå inntok jeg middag på hotellet - variert meny og utmerket mat. Rommet hadde vannkoker og vinduer til å åpne, og taxien kom som bestilt grytidlig neste morgen. Upåklagelig service. Men jeg ville ikke valgt dette hotellet om jeg skulle tilbringe noen feriedager i Doha.

Greit hotell for et stopover, men lite i umiddelbar nærhet. Man må ta taxi for å komme seg til basaren eller museet for islamsk kunst. Bassenget er lite og ligger i skyggen. Litt slitent preg over hele greia.

Vi overnattet her kun en natt mellom to fly - ble hentet og kjørt til og fra flyplassen av hotellet til en billig penge. Store rom med god standard, svært vennlig personale.

Komfortable senger
Uvanlig god seng å sove i. Stort og behagelig rom. Baren var grei nok, men veldig støyende og røykfylt. Grei beliggenhet, bare man klarer å krysse hovedgata til strandpromenaden.

Fint hotell med god beliggenhet
Bodde der i 3 netter. God service og god beliggenhet. Eneste minus var at bassenget var lite og hadde skygge etter kl 1200. Det bodde ogsaa en duekoloni i vunduskarmene over bassenget, og det var dueskitt overalt. Saa hvis basseng er viktig boer man velge et annet sted.

Veldig greit hotell
Jeg hadde to overnattinger i Doha på vei hjem fra et annet sted. Greit med taxi fra hotellet og meget bra hotell til den prisen jeg betalte. Stort fint rom, men litt støy fra fly som landet og tok av. Svømmebassenget var imidlertid litt for lite til å kunne benytte det til å trene i. Ved svømmebassenget var det maksimalt 4 timer med sol, før den forsvant bak hotellbygningen.

Mövenpick hotel Doha - utmerket for stopover
Vi tilbrakte 20 timer i Doha på stopover til India. Hotel Mövenpick lå ikke langt fra flyplassen og i gangavstand til Museum of Islamic art som er verdt et besøk. Rommet var stort og hadde høy standard, det samme gjaldt badet. Restauranten hadde en deilig buffet til både til frokost og lunsj. Anledning til å slappe av ved svømmebassenget selv om det ikke var mye sol da bassenget lå i bak høye vegger. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning!

We had a very pleasant stay in the Movenpick Hotel, Corniche road in Doha. everyone was very hospital to us: at the reception Sonia, Haifa , Ryan, James and Shiva were very helpfull to us and gave us excellent services. In the restaurant: Urmila, Judith and Roman were also very kind and gave us excellent services. also great services and tips for sightseeings from Ranjeet Varma. thank you all for a wonderfull time we had in your Hotel and we will certainly come again and let our friends and family advise to stay at your Hotel. Very Enjoyable Stay
Excellent staff, comfortable spacious room and good location about 10 mins walk from National Museum Metro. Breakfast very good. For the price I paid, excellent value for money.

Excellent location walking distance to a lot of the major tourist attractions in the older part of Doha such as Souq Waqif and the National Musuem too. To get to the newer parts of Doha again very accessible via Ubers and public transport.
