Well..
The standard of the room was ok, but kind of woren out(There were spots all over our bedroom floor) The service was ok but kind of strange and cold. If you don’t want guest during Ramadan then don’t have rooms available! We ordered food from a delivery service. This was definetly a pluss for the total experience. Great flavours.

Not five stars hotel
Enlightened as five star hotels, and it was even advertised in its own review of the hotel . But this was little reminded that the hotel should have as many stars except that they tried to offer everything a five star hotel wants to offer but did not get so far . It is said that the hotel was completely renovated in May 2012. It can be enough to be right, but it was a lot of bad professional work. Among the bathroom door seals painted with brown color and it was spilled a lot of tiles without attempted washed away . The shower was very uncomfortable as it showered straight on wall, and could not be adjusted downwards towards the bath. The carpet in the room was uncomfortable to walk on. Seemed very dirty . Only a one pair of slipper did that one of us had to wear shoes all the time inside the room. No bathrobe in the room, which is expected at the five star hotel. Price list for the mini bar was there, but the mini bar was completely empty . Tried to get both iron and iron board to the room, but this didn't come, even after having visit the reception twice. Try also to get more toiletroll and finally, after two reminders came two rolled extra. It was confirmed that the room should have king size bed, but we got two single beds. The most positive on the stay was the low price of the transfer to the airport and good price for the stay. Recommend paying a little extra if you want five stars, for this hotel didn't live up to that.

Overall the hotel is clean however is not well maintained. The bathroom in the hotel room is very run down and old. When asked to change the room due to this, the staff did not accommodate. Location is not the best in Doha but it was good price and clean hotel room.

Great location, staff, and spacious room
This was a great stay. The hotel was only one block away from a metro station so I took the metro from the airport to the stop near the hotel and walked. The hotel staff were fabulous! The room was spacious and equipped with a mini refrigerator and in room coffee. The only complaint I would share with the owners is that the carpet is filthy with stains all over.

The bathtub was extremely slippery, especially for elderly people. It needs a rubber mat or some rough texture on the bottom. N. American people are expecting to have "face cloths" in the bathroom. We aren't use to having to wash our face with the corner of a towel. Since breakfast is part of the price of the hotel, if we must check out even before breakfast time, couldn't we have a discount or else be offered a muffin or something free of charge? The high price of the two croissants I bought there at night when we checked in, was totally unreasonable. Irfan was nice, but ridiculously, for no reason, suddenly announced he was up-grading our room to one with a balcony. It was late at night when we arrived and we'd be leaving before it even got light so what was the motivation for this generous sounding "upgrade"? We didn't so much as open the drapes.

Although, the hotel room is out date, but location is good near metro, and pillows are very comfortable. The service from the front desk (especially from Gamal) and security teams is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and the service team is tentative, and prompt. Highly recommended.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
Paid a fortune to stay here as no other hotels were available due to World Cup. Hotel is meant to be a 4 star but wouldn’t even class it as a 3 star. - Carpet in room was dirty and coming off the floor. - Didn’t even have a built in fridge was just left on the floor next to desk. - Safe wasn’t working, concierge was told and came to fix it. 10 minutes later stopped working again. - Room smelt of cigarettes. - Was charged full price for a massage when it clearly states guests get discounted rates. When told about this they asked me to get a drink from the hotel shop instead of giving me the money back. In the end I had to settle for a free transfer back to the airport. - Tv signal was terrible. Couldn’t watch anything clearly, screen was very fuzzy and kept cutting out. - Hairdryer was rubbish and didn’t any others to replace it with. Would NOT recommend this hotel and will definitely NOT stay here again!
