Each day can be as relaxed as you’d like at our secluded 3 bedroom 2-1/2 bath mountain home. Whatever you choose, breathtaking, year-round long-range mountain views await you. Only a 25 minute drive to Highlands, NC. Many local waterfalls, hiking trails, fishing, and zip lining.

Marvel at the morning mist rising through the valley as your sip your morning coffee. Savor the sunset’s sweep of colors dancing as you pour a glass of wine. Stunning vistas
surround you.

Outside, you’ll hear birdsong, the gentle trickle of a waterfall, rustling leaves, and any sounds you choose to bring with you. Go ahead, bring your guitar. Dust off that harmonica. Or simply enjoy the sounds of nature.

Bring a book for the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch or gliders on the viewing deck.

Inside our well-appointed home, each room has a lovely view.

Located in Sky Valley, our home offers access to on-site resort amenities: tennis, pickle ball, golf, croquet, heated outdoor pool and hot tub, and year-round fitness center.

Lace up your hiking boots and spend the day exploring the nearby hiking trails, or grab your clubs for a leisurely day on the green. After the day's adventures, grill up a home-cooked meal and relax on the wraparound deck.

Talk about a beautiful home and amazing setup. They have thought of everything. But the wrap-around porch with the view of mountains as far as the eye can see is why you will want to come back.

We had a brief, but very nice stay here. We particularly enjoyed enjoying pleasant times in the mornings and evenings enjoying the view from the porch, as well as thoughtful touches throughout the cabin, like provided coffee k-cups, hot chocolate packets, and snacks, lots of fun porch seating options (rocking chairs, gliders, and porch swing!), good lighting throughout, and fun bear-themed decorations. We also very much appreciated Steven's incredibly quick responsiveness!We only wish there was a grocery store and coffee shop in Dillard.

Wonderful Getaway!

This is such a gorgeous home with a wonderful view and great mountain experience. The home is nicely arranged so that everyone can scatter. A great porch with an amazing view and a huge fireplace is in the backyard was so much fun. The weather (late May) was chilly at night, so we really enjoyed all off the outside touches. The owner was so friendly and in touch if we needed something. The home itself is tucked back so you get lots of privacy. Love this home...love Sky Valley!\

Well appointed house.

Comfortable, clean and thought out as there were two coffee makers. Our drug of choice was enhanced with the Keurig coffee maker complete with coffee.Driveway was steeeep, had to use four wheel drive.

Spacious and beautiful cabin

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin for a few days before Christmas with our kids. We went tubing at scaly mountain one afternoon which was very close and also enjoyed a night out in Clayton one evening. The cabin is close enough to things (20 minutes to most things) and was remote and quiet to enjoy some peace. The cabin was very clean and the perfect space for our family of 5. All of the bedrooms were very large and could fit all luggage and still room to spare. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, but our 3 children ages 4, 8 and 10 all slept in one large bedroom upstairs with a king bed. We did not even need the 3rd bedroom because there was so much space! The downstairs was the perfect area to relax and has amazing large windows with great views. The property manager was very responsive also. We hope to return in the warmer months to enjoy in another season!

Great Mountain Cabin

Fantastic property. Well maintained home with beautiful views. Very comfortable and has everything you need. Beds and sheets were super soft and comfortable. Outdoor fireplace is so nice and a great way to relax and unplug. We will be back.

A Little Slice of Heaven

I was in desperate need of a brief escape from work and the daily grind, but finding a last minute, high elevation mountain place that is pet friendly in August can be tricky at best. This wonderful home fit the bill and more! Our host was helpful with a few questions as we completed the booking, including a wonderful welcome packet with everything we needed.the kitchen was well equipped, the porch overlooking the views was the perfect spot for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. The beds were amazingly comfortable and everything was spotless. I look forward to returning for a longer stay one day soon.Be sure to try The Hush Cuban Kitchen and Grill in Clayton while you are there. Thanks for a delightful couple of days that provided a week’s worth of relaxation.

Luxury Cabin

Overall was very wonderful! It was clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We used the gas grill for making burgers and hot dogs for our dinner. It worked just fine. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful Mountain View in the morning with our coffee. The beds slept great! Ceiling fans in every bedroom! We worked on a puzzle during the evening, which was nice, but the lighting in that area was not sufficient is our only negative concern. The home had everything else you’d need.

Great Weekend Getaway!

This house was a perfect weekend getaway complete with everything you would find at home. The outdoor fireplace area was a night well spent! Directions for all appliances, televisions, fireplace, etc. were all available and easy to use. My wife did not like the somewhat steep driveway; however, it was no problem even without four wheel drive. Would love to stay again.

Sky Valley Fall 2023

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful & comfortable home in Dillard area. We spent some time in Highlands and Cashiers. And we were happy to have some morning & evening time back at the house to unwind & relax. Steven is great host & communicated well! Plan to stay here again!

Fall weekend getaway

It is a wonderful house, nicely decorated and very well maintained with everything you can possibly need for a short or long stay. We enjoyed our stay there a lot. We especially loved the outside sitting area with the beautiful view. On colder nights it was nice to stay in the cozy living room with the fireplace. Very comfortable beds and soft bedding. I also loved that we did not have to worry about bringing any shampoo/conditioners etc. Everything was provided. Would certainly love to come back again.

Beautiful Cozy Mountain Home

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful mountain view. Loved the cozy house with the balcony, waterfall, and outdoor fireplace. You can watch the sun rise over the mountains from the bed in downstairs bedroom or sitting with a cup of coffee on the balcony. We stayed the entire week to hike and see waterfalls, visit nearby Dillard and Clayton, and take day trips to Helen and Cherokee. Our timing was perfect, because it only rained one day, so we slept in, played games, watched a movie, and put a puzzle together that day. We would love to come back again for another visit....maybe in the fall when the leaves are changing.
