We really enjoyed our stay, the studio was clean , A/c worked well, the garden is beautiful, perfect communication with the host, Roxenne answers always quickly, in the studio you can find any type of kitchen tool, well equipped, highly recommended, if we'll go back to Bermuda we'll come back in this place, The studio is located in Devonshire in in the middle of the Bermuda which is perfect as base to visit the island, you can go to the far east or the far west in 30 minutes ride, it means you can reach any beach or city in the island with no effort at all.

The perfect Bermuda getaway stay

Simply, the Devonshire Studio Cottage was the perfect stay for my wife and I! We loved everything about Bermuda and our stay! The beaches, golf, shopping, dining, and especially, the friendliest people we encountered!We loved the Devonshire Studio Cottage location. It was very central and easy to access to most points of Bermuda ( we rented a scooter, but bus routes run conveniently along South Rd.). Downtown Hamilton was only a 8 min scooter ride away.The Cottage was very comfortable! It's perfect in size and amenities for a couple's stay. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and shower. Air Conditioning with a ceiling fan. Wi-Fi wireless access and TV. Well stocked Kitchenette to allow preparation of some of our meals (no oven, but a range and microwave). A nice sized refrigerator kept our food fresh. Very clean! There's a beautiful Weber Outdoor Gas Grill that's available for grilling. The access to the ocean is literally a few minutes walk out the back gate of the property and you can see the ocean from the property. The immediate beach area is a little rocky, but there's steps to a wading area for a safe dip. This beach access was an absolutely beautiful walk in early morning or evening hours.The host, Rexanne and her family, were so kind! Check in was a breeze and there was a homemade Bermuda Rum Cake waiting for us when we arrived. It was so delicious! (we would love to get the recipe). A Perfect Stay

Apartment was so convenient to beaches, grocery stores and had an electric charger for our Bermie! Property was beautiful with walking distance to the water as well as a private beach. Central location to visit downtown Hamilton as well

Lovely spot . Nicer people! Close to beach ! First place in 18 months traveling that had good cleaning products and brushes etc etc - makes a big difference ! Good internet and firestick appreciated on a little tv . Twizzy charging too . Recommend

Excellent location.

This is a cute studio apartment. I stayed there for a few weeks in the winter. Everything is exactly like the photos show, a very accurate listing and really clean. Wonderful hosts who were helpful with the questions I had. This apartment is in a very convenient central location. It is close to the bus stop. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for the minimalist & Perfect Central Location!

Robert & Rexanne were wonderful hosts! This is a perfect centralized location just 10 minutes from Hamilton in 25 minutes from the airport! VRBO had most everything you would need for being in and out all day! Beautiful walking path down to the ocean! 10 minute walk from the botanist best place in the world for breakfast!! The only thing we would have loved to have would be a drip coffee pot like a Keurig, so we could make coffee. They did have instant coffee, just not quite the same. Really enjoyed our stay can’t wait to come back to Bermuda!

The best Vrbo ever

Pictures do not do this home justice! My partner and I enjoyed a 5 day stay in Bermuda that felt like it was out of a dream. The home was opened up to us, and made our time on the island so easy that we could just focus on enjoying each other’s company. The hosts could not have been nicer or more welcoming. The beach in the back of the property is absolutely stunning and we were always the only people on it whenever we went out there. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Bermuda - I’ve already told all my friends and family!

Wonderful Stay!!

A lovely guest cottage close to the ocean and the bus stops! We appreciated the huge help the hosts were in familiarizing us with the area when we arrived, and any needs or questions were addressed right away. The rum cake on arrival was another hit! The studio apartment provided a comfortable, very clean and most enjoyable visit!! We hope to return to this stay soon!!

Salt spray cottage

Had a good time in Bermuda for a week even with hurricane Lee which passed by the first night of our vacation. We lost power in the middle of the night and the first half of the following day. The host had a generator which kept the water running. Twenty four hours after the hurricane passed the weather was gorgeous and there was no impact to any of activities we had planned.

Back home for one of us

Property was clean and tidy as expected small. Owners were on holiday all the time which was a shame. Had difficulty sorting out temperatures but worked out with advice from owner on phone. I feel bedding & towels should have been changed weekly not fortnightly. The advertised way to local beach was impassable as it was overgrown but not the landlords responsibility. The cake left by the owner was outstanding. I think 4weeks in such a small guest house was too long (our fault nothing to do with landlord) you get what you pay for. Overall it served us what we needed somewhere to sleep and small amount of cooking. Landlords Son & his wife who were there two of our weeks were very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic location and stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this rental property. The host was easy to communicate with even before booking, and was gracious in answering all of our questions. Upon arrival, she met us and gave us an overview. The unit is exactly as expected and it looks like the images in the ad. The apartment is clean and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need to make basic meals. The rum cake was the cherry on top of the cake :) The host was also so kind to take us to the grocery store upon our arrival to do some basic grocery shopping. Moreover, the location of this unit is perfect. It is close to the ocean and a small private beach can be found nearby. Also, it is on a quiet and safe street. At the end of the road there is a bus stop, which is incredible convenient. We absolutely loved our stay here and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!

First of all Rob, Rexanne & Gabby were VERY welcoming! Chatted upon arrival, left a fabulous homemade run cake, and gave us a ride to pick up a scooter! The studio was perfect for the two of us. Quite, clean and SO close to the ocean (think coffee & sunrises). Rob filled us with history about the area and helped us out on numerous occasions. It couldn't have been more perfect for our 8-day excursion!

Amazing cottage near the ocean!

Perfect place to stay during my second trip to the island. The property and room was beautiful, and had everything we needed for our stay. Location is also excellent. Very central to town, beaches, and everything the island has! Cute little swimming spot just a few steps away!

we really enjoyed our stay. the house is very clean and equipped with everything you need. the location is great. a few steps from the water. and central to all places of interest. a paradise. the welcome hand made rum cake is delicious (I need the recipe 😅!!) very kind owners. the taxi that had to take us back to the airport was late and the owners' son did not hesitate to offer to pamper us, he arrived in a matter of minutes (at 6.00 am !!!). So.... I hope to return soon ... we could not have wished for better! thank you so much!

A home away from home in paradise

We adored staying at the Salt Spray Studio and meeting Rexanne and Rob, who were absolutely lovely! They were both so kind and enthusiastic as they introduced us to our accommodations and gave us tips and pointers as to how best to enjoy the cottage on their beautiful property. Very warm and generous people. Rob led us down to the beach along the short trail beside their homestead and we were amazed at how peaceful and private their secluded cove was. It was a gorgeous spot for a glass of wine at sunset. Kayaks were available, however with the weather being a bit rainy during our stay, we were not able to put them to use. Maybe next time. The Salt Spray Studio had everything that we needed. Towels, both bath and beach were provided as well as sheets, and the bed was quite comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary tools and dishes and there are a couple of grocery stores a short scooter ride from the Studio. We made a couple dinners on nights we felt like staying "home". We also made use of the gas grill and a bit of fresh basil from the garden. Truth be told, our dinners at "home" were some of our favorites while in Bermuda. We found the location to be perfect. Centrally located on the southern shore, we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go pretty quickly on our rented scooter. 10 minutes to Hamilton, 25 minutes to St. George's and 30 minutes to Somerset Village, though we didn't make it that far. Thank you again Rexanne & Rob for such a lovely stay in your corner of paradise. We hope to see you again someday and explore more of Bermuda, in all reality, we would also love to have some more of that deeelicious rum cake that you left for us. Amazing! Cheers, Chip & Lisa

Amazing spot!!

Our stay at the Salt Spray Studio was amazing! This studio is adorable, with everything you need. The private beach is stunning and it is just incredible to know that the perfect aqua blue, crystal clear water of Bermuda is footsteps away from where you’re staying. Although Rexanne and Bob were away during our stay, they were extremely helpful and quick to communicate with us. The location is perfect as well! You can get to and fro Hamilton in about 10 minutes. I would recommend that anybody planning to stay here try to read up on the bus system before you go on your trip. It is the easiest way to get around, but can be a bit confusing if you haven’t read into it at all. I highly recommend the Salt Spray Studio!!!

What we wanted but...

The place is what we wanted but not what we expected. Let me explain. We don't expect much and have had some unexpected surprises with past rental places [both VRBO and its competitors]. Therefore, for us to receive perfection was a huge relief. :) First, Rexanne had an appointment so her husband Bob was prepared to check us in. Rexanne had provided current phone numbers. Rob was able to redirect the lost taxi driver. Second, the place was spotless and exactly as pictured. The cake and champagne others mentioned were there. Third, the dog was an unmentioned surprised. It's really small, but I'm terrified of dogs. Rexanne and Bob kept it away from the studio and arranged for a neighbor to let me take the beach shortcut through his yard so that I could avoid the dog. Fourth, the kayaks and life jackets met my husband's standards. He's a volunteer river kayak guide and so can be picky. Fifth, there's a clothes line and outside shower that can be used for wet swimsuits and sand. Also, they took us grocery shopping the first day, to the bus station to get passes, and regularly checked to see if we needed anything. All in all, the place was perfect. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. FYI-- 1. If you can't get the AC fan to turn off once the room is cool, the remote opens to reveal a control panel. Yes, we had to ask about that. 2. The notes and brochures contain bus and ferry schedules, maps, beach directions, and a warning about ants. Ants hate soap. Put a little liquid soap on a damp paper towel and run it along the door jams and ant trail across the counter. It'll work like a charm until the next big rain. Then, you simply repeat the procedure. 3. Only 1 bus route passes by their street. It doesn't run on Sunday mornings, so you'll need a taxi for church. It also doesn't run after the work day ends. The next bus routes are a quarter mile away via a 2 lane narrow street with no sidewalks and no where to go when a car comes. Having made that trek multiple times, I don't recommend it. If you can't plan around the times to connect to the other bus routes, then take a taxi to the next bus route's stop. Trust me; we're 2 athletic people who hike a lot and we don't recommend it. Also, the bus stop going away from Hamilton is literally a blue pole about 1 inch off the street. If you're the nervous type, you might want to skip the bus altogether. Otherwise, we found the bus system to be the best option.

Bermuda Paradise Stay

This was an excellent find. The hosts received us late at night with the warmest of welcomes and we were made to feel at home throughout our stay. The room is cozy and clean. Access to their private beach was a plus as we watched the sunset enjoying a bottle of wine, dipping our feet in the water. We also had our coffee with a water view. Access to Hamilton and Elbow Beach are both about a 10 minute ride. Location was excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

We can't recommend this place, and its hosts, enough! Perfect location if you want to go fishing, have a private beach to swim and snorkel, and convenient location for getting around the island. The apartment is perfect and comfortable, and Rob and Rexanne were great and so welcoming!
