Stunning A-frame cabin on Maud Lake ( Near Detroit Lakes )

Retreat to the Great North and stay at a newly built A frame cabin that hosts 5 bedrooms which sleeps 10, and 2.5 baths. The stunning A frame cabin with 4200 sq ft total, is enough space to make lasting memories with your loved ones! A fully furnished home with a spacious patio, Black Stone grill, Big Green Egg, kayak, and paddle board, Lilly Pad is included. A 45 foot long dock will surely give the kids enough room to play and hook a monster bass off the end of the dock.
A fully stocked kitchen is ready for you to prepare your best meals, with a pantry stocked with non perishable foods. Full laundry room is available to you, with essentials like linens, and bath and beach towels included. Once you are ready to relax, enjoy a heated tub bath!
Enjoy local eateries like the Hotel Shoram, Detroit Lakes, MN and Spanky's Steak House in Frazee, MN (30 minute drive) and 2 beautiful golf courses within 20 mins of property. Enjoy activities year round at D.L. Mountain, or spend your days ice fishing, snowmobiling, tubing, skiing, and much more! If shopping is on your mind, enjoy the boutique shops on Washington Ave, 10 minutes away in Detroit Lakes, MN.
Rentals upon request: fishing boat, ice house with auger and rods, snowmobiles and two electrical camping hookup sites just a few feet from the cabin.
Some pets allowed upon approval pet fee is $100.00 per animal per stay.

We enjoyed the house with all the space and being on the lake. It was so nice to be away from the city and so private. Bummer that it rained the entire time so no fishing or firepit but there was plenty to do.We went troll hunting, much fun! Visited Detroit Lakes for shopping and food.Getting into the house took a minute due to passcodes and passwords to internet not the ones sent to me.

The property was an amazing venue including the yard and lake. Our only problems were around the listing showing it had three futons for sleeping accommodations. This did not have any. Additionally, when we got there, the laundry was not done and scattered all over the laundry room floor. The master bed was not made and we were unable to find sheets. We ended up buying a set of sheets before the owner was able to respond on where to find them. We paid a cleaning fee and I'm assuming the people before us did as well, but certainly it was not in the kind of shape you'd expect from a high priced booking (including all the many fees). We got past these things and had a great time, but we started out the stay on a low note.

We came for a family get away on my husbands side of the family! 4 families with kids ranging 1-11. We absolutely loved this place. Plenty of space, bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Large kitchen, dining and family room for everyone to gather. We loved having bonfires outside on the patio and the kids had a blast fishing for sunnies off the dock. 20 min into Detroit lakes if we needed something. One day ended up being rainy so we explored the Trolls in Detroit Lakes and even went over to the headwaters of the Mississippi! Overall a memorable trip, we hope to come again next year!!

Extended family stay

We were in town for a family funeral. Beautiful home! We enjoyed the outdoor space and time on the water pad. The kids had a blast fishing of the dock. One sunfish after another. Highly recommend, but a beach area would really be a nice addition.

Memory Making Trip

This was a perfect place for our friends group to gather, as we woke in the morning to share breakfast and coffee and gather by the fire each night after a day of golfing. Immaculate and very well organized for guests. Seeing the northern lights and Perseid meteor shower was a definite bonus.

Relaxing week on the lake

The location is excellent, the house is in great condition, and the amenities were as expected. Unfortunately, the weather decided to suddenly be 20 degrees colder and rainy, but that just made us utilize the house more and play more board games and watch Olympics. We definitely made use of the fire pit with the cooler weather and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were all very impressed with the pantry items that were available for our use as well. We needed to communicate with host a couple times, and he was very responsive and timely. We would definitely stay there again!

Amazing beautiful new home

We had a terrific time and the house is beautiful with all high-end architectural features. Our grandchildren loved playing in the water and they especially like the lily pad. The layout of the house is great for families because there is separation and the lower level is awesome with very comfortable Coaches plus air hockey and a very large television. I would rate this as the best place that we have stayed and what Would recommended to anyone that’s looking for a great getaway!

Great Long Weekend!

Beautiful property! We had fun fishing and kayaking on the lake, traveling to Detroit Lakes, grilling on the great patio, enjoying a fire and the sounds of the loons, and cooking in the gourmet kitchen! The property had everything needed. The owners are great!

Perfect for all ages!

What a wonderful cabin! We stayed here with our college friend group and 3 kiddos under the age of 2 - it was perfect for us. We loved sitting around the fire, cooking in the spacious kitchen; and the kids loved all the toys downstairs! We had perfect weather and spent it playing badminton in the yard, while others grilled. One day we even went into downtown DL, and enjoyed shopping and the brewery plus dinner at Zorbaz. The location of this cabin is perfect for a quick trip to explore downtown while also feeling like you are up north. This cabin comes with amenities galore! There is no stone left unturned and it felt clean and luxurious. The photos don't do justice with how much space there is. We are considering staying again for our annual college get together! Go Gophers!

Great visit!

This is a very nice place! We were there for a family reunion and had a great time! The house is beautiful and we were able to spend some great family time together on the water, around the campfire and playing lots of card games! We had a first-time fisherman and he had a blast catching fish off of the dock. You barely had to throw your line in! It's a great place to stay!

Great week at the lake

Enjoyed a wonderful week in a beautiful cabin. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics and cooking utensils, pots and pans and having a Blackstone was great for hibachi, breakfast and burgers. Thanks for sharing your lake home with us.
