The Space:

We can't wait to welcome you to Sunsail Cottage! Our home is located in the heart of Destin, within 3 short blocks to the most beautiful sugar sand beaches. We're located at the entrance of the cozy Sunsail neighborhood, with easy access to Highway 98 to come and go to local restaurants, shopping, and activities. We can accommodate up to two vehicles, plus golf cart parking. Unfortunately we do not permit RV, box truck, trailer, or watercraft parking at our home.

As you approach the home, you’ll fall in love with the true Florida-living feel of the wraparound porch. It’s fully gated, with plenty of seating to enjoy your morning coffee. Just a few steps up bring you to the coded keyless entry, making check-in a breeze, no keys needed!



You'll be in awe from the moment you walk in at the open-air feel of the home as natural light encompasses the entry way and living room area from just about every angle of the room. To the right you'll see our comfortable sectional, with plenty of space for your group to enjoy kicking back at the end of a long day in the sun. A Smart TV with provided Hulu Live for guests is situated in the corner as well. To the left is a great reading nook with two snug accent chairs.



The chef in your family will enjoy being a part of the day-to-day with the kitchen being open to the living space. A door right off the kitchen onto the front porch makes bringing in your groceries for the week a task easily completed. Our kitchen comes fully equipped to include a large fridge with on demand water & ice, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, cookware, silverware, standard coffee maker, Nespresso Coffee Maker, Keurig, Crockpot, blender, toaster, and even children's cutlery and dinnerware! If you plan to cook during your trip, we encourage you to bring along any spices, condiments, & oils you may need as we do not provide any perishable or non-perishable items. Our breakfast bar completes the kitchen space, with three stools to enjoy a light meal or an after the pool snack! Our dining area is also a part of the open layout, with seating for 6 at the table.



Down the hall, to the right, guests can find the bunk room. Here we've created a great space for the kids with Twin-over-Twin bunks, a Smart TV with Hulu Live, and plenty of space for luggage storage in the closet! We also offer a Twin trundle bed under the bunks for extra guests.



Across the hall from the bunk room, or to the left when walking down the hall, guests can find a conveniently located full bathroom. A shower and tub, toilet, and sink with counter space make it easy to get ready for the day. Our full-sized washer and dryer are conveniently located here as well!



The next bedroom is located on the left hand side of the hallway as well. It comes complete with a Queen bed, a Smart TV with Hulu Live, and ample closet and dresser space. The hallway bathroom is also easily accessible by a private entrance to this bedroom.



At the end of the hallway is the master bedroom. This spacious room boasts vaulted ceilings, a King bed, a large Smart TV with Hulu Live, a full length mirror for getting ready, a large walk-in closet, dresser space, and an ensuite bathroom. Guests can also enjoy easy access to the backyard directly through the master bedroom. The bathroom is equally as spacious with his and hers sinks, a toilet, and a large walk-in glass door shower with two shower heads!



We provide a pack & play, high chair, and kids dishes/silverware. These items are always at the home, available for guest use. We know kiddos require bringing any & everything, so we're happy to make that load a little lighter for you!



The backyard oasis is certainly where we envision guests making many memories. Our patio includes a table & chairs for 6, a natural gas grill, a few lounge chairs, and a hammock for the utmost level of relaxation. Kick back your feet, enjoy a BBQ meal, or float around in the sunny pool! A grassy area is perfect for you fur-baby to run around, or to play some outdoor games. With no large trees to shade the yard, you can soak up all the sun during your stay!



Guest Access:

• You’ll receive keyless entry instructions at 4PM CST on the day of your arrival for a smooth, hassle-free check-in.



The Neighborhood:

• During busy times it can be easier to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to avoid dealing with traffic and parking. The town is fairly easy to navigate, as most everything to do is directly off the main road through in either direction!



Getting Around:

• We're excited to announce we are offering a golf cart for guests booked & staying October 2025 til March 1 2026! Not only is it fun to cruise around in, but it takes the dread out of lugging all your beach items along on a walk. Our community is very golf cart friendly, and it can be driven on any road 35MPH & below, giving you easy access to the beach, shopping, and restaurants without the hassle of loading everyone in the car!

• Airport Distances:

Destin FL (VPS) - 18 miles

Panama City FL (ECP) - 47 miles

Pensacola FL (PNS) - 76 miles



Other Things to Note:

• PLEASE read our house rules in detail before booking. We take time to put important information here that we need each guest to take into consideration when booking our home. While not all items listed may apply to your stay, we host guests of various group compositions so we must list all rules that could apply to a trip. Thank you for your understanding!

• We are pet friendly for up to 2 dogs per booking, but we do charge a $200 pet fee to be able to host others that may have allergies we have a deeper clean done, no exceptions. Only house trained pets are permitted, and if planned to leave unattended they must be crated to avoid damage. It is required to clean up after your pet, both inside and out, or additional fees will be assessed. ESA (Emotional Support Animals) are subject to the pet fee, as they do not fall under ADA compliant service animal requirements. It is a crime in our state to impersonate a service animal, so we appreciate your honesty in this matter.

• Pool heating is not included in your stay. Pricing does vary based on length of stay, so if your group wants to enjoy this amazing amenity just inquire when booking.

• Our cleaners supply a courtesy supply of toiletries for roughly the first day or so of your stay (toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, bar soap, laundry soap, dish detergent) but guests are responsible for any additional supplies needed. We do not stock spices, oils, sunscreen, food storage (Ziplocs, foil, etc.) so please plan accordingly if you'll need these items.

• We do provide beach towels for guests to use poolside or at the beach, as we ask guests to please not use any white towels in these spaces. Any other beach/pool items are not provided or guaranteed.
