PRIVATE BEACHFRONT RESORT- Pelican Beach is a wonderful resort with MORE amenities than any other high rise in Destin. 20th/Penthouse floor, NON-SMOKING, two bedroom, two bath condominium with MAGNIFICENT VIEWS of the Gulf of Mexico and our condo has amazing views of 'NIGHT LIGHTS' of Destin.

Conveniently situated in the Heart of Destin across street from the BIG KAHUNA Water Park. SECURITY GUARD at entrance, COVERED parking, two tennis courts, movie rentals, game room, DELI with gift shop. Enjoy the TIKI bar overlooking the beach and the INDOOR/OUTDOOR heated pool with waterfall. Work-out in on site EXCERCISE room. Enjoy a glass of wine in the HOT TUB or relax on the large sun deck. Pelican Beach is the perfect family 'Destin-ation.' Theme parks, numerous golf courses, excellent restaurants, and shopping are all just minutes away. Silver Sands, a large factory outlet is only seven miles east, Destin Commons shopping mall which has a huge movie complex is at the corner of Mid-Bay Bridge and Hwy 98. DEEP SEA FISHING and Sunset Cruises is just down the street. Take a ride down 30A for wonderful sight seeing.

We take pride in keeping the condo well maintained and updated. NEW granite, cabinets, vanities, screen doors, mattress pads, sleeper sofa, frig, MW, dishwasher, a new 65 inch 4K smart TV in living room. This tastefully decorated and comfortable condominium has a PRIVATE BALCONY to enjoy those wonderful Florida sunrises or enjoy afternoon shade after coming off the beach. Spend your vacation with us, and you will come back again! The living room has a convertible sofa that makes a queen size bed. We have 3 LCD TVs & WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET access. FULL STOCKED kitchen and an in unit WASHER/DRYER.

Pictures are accurate. Check in and check out was seamless. Owner very responsive. Good location. Pools were great. Food is actually good at onsite cafe. Maintenance was fast when needed. Security was an added plus! Unit is on the side but the view is still great!

Check in process was easy. Unit was as described. The first couple days we had bug issues in the unit. The owner sent a property manager to spray, after that no issues. The closet had an array of helpful items such as beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. The view from the balcony was amazing, can watch the sunrise. Beach access was easy and convenient. Pools, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room were all very nice.

Great location. Beds are super soft and comfy. Nice ocean view from balcony and harbor view from front. Grill area is a huge bonus. We enjoyed the hot tubs daily and it was nice to have chairs on the beach each day even though it was the winter months.

It was awesome!! We come to Destin for Thanksgiving every year to spend time with our children and grands. This place has everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, homey, & peaceful with a beautiful ocean view and beach access. Hopefully we can rent the same unit next year.

Had an excellent vaction. This was a surprise for my mothers birthday and she was extremely happy. The ocean view was amazing. Beautiful sunrises on the back balcony, and beautiful sunsets from the front. Conveniently located by anything you would need. The beach was wonderful and the pools were great and relaxing.

We love staying at Pelican Beach resort, especially this condo. The owner was very responsive, unit was clean, and she even had chairs and umbrellas for us to use. The resort has a great cafe here and in a great location. Only thing is the view is a side view of the ocean, but still a great view. Even the front door has a view of Destin and the harbor. I'm looking forward to booking here again next year.

The unit does not look updated and definitely not upscale within it. I should get a refund for the cleaning fee. The entire unit smelled of garlic and rotten meat because the disposal was not working and old food was left in it; bathtub was dirty and towels were dingy and mildewy. Can't photograph smells; the patio screen door was unhinged. The access and view to the beach was great. Update and modernize unit and the addon your website and of property may be correct.

Everything from checking in and goin up to our unit was awesome and easy, the condo was very clean warm and cozy and everything I expected and then some, communication with the owner was amazing she was the best.. our family had a wonderful time and we will definitely book with her again!

Look Elsewhere

Staying at Pelican Beach Resort had more cons than pros unfortunately. First off entering this condo, the decor and set up was beautiful to see and had wonderful ocean views being on the 20th floor. Upon entered the bathrooms, they were extremely dirty. The showers and shower curtain had mold, the shower floor was filthy, and the sinks were dirty as well. The shower head was not on and water sprayed everywhere and the sink faucet leaked as well. When reaching out to Valerie and photos were send all that was said back was “looks like caulking needs to be done” Really with the amount of mold present, caulking is not the answer. Another con with the resort itself was the umbrella rentals. We have never been to a beach where there was so many rentals, 5 rows to be exact, and you have to set up your own beach gear behind those 5 rows. It looks like the whole area was the same way, but Pelican Beach definitely had more set up than any other resorts near by. There were no rentals available upon arrival and to get the first few rows where it would be worth it, you had to book online in November ( per worker). Valerie did tell us we had to set up behind the rentals, but did not include the time frame on when we should rent nor was it mentioned that you couldn’t even set up chairs by the water to watch your children in the ocean. We have never been to a beach with so many rules!! Overall, we paid way too much for such disappointments all around.

Perfect penthouse unit and owners!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Destin. Valerie is super responsive and a very sweet host. The unit was clean and offered an amazing view of the beach! Can’t wait to return.

Fabulous Beach Stay

We loved our stay at this condo in Destin! Beautiful view of the beach. Clean condo with everything the five of us needed. The pools were great! Great sandy beach! The food at the cafe was great for a healthy quick lunch or breakfast. We would definitely stay again when in the Destin area.

Excellent Stay

We had such a great experience during our stay! The resort offered fantastic amenities and the food & drinks were absolutely delicious. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and having a washer and dryer on-site was a huge convenience. Even though it was spring break and the resort was busy, it never felt overcrowded. A surprising highlight was the elevator system; we never waited more than three minutes, which is rare based on our past experiences at other resorts. The only downside was the beach set up for chairs. Unless you’re able to book the first or second row, the fee is kind of blocked by others. It still is such an amazing beach! Clean & beautiful water. Most special of all, this place now holds a very special spot in my heart. It’s where we got engaged on the balcony with a stunning view. I said yes! We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful Condo

Condo was amazing and host was excellent with communication. Beautiful spot on the beach. Enjoyed our stay!! The only issues we had was the pools were not heated (one was warmer but both still chilly) and the hot tubs were under maintenance at times during our stay.
