This home stands out by having a private pool.

Welcome to A Wave From It All. This beautiful four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home has an open concept layout with a coastal farmhouse feel to sleep up to 16 guests. Relax in the spacious living room with a flat screen TV after a full day in the sun, a perfect space for a game night. A beautiful kitchen features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Gather around the dining table that seats six with additional seating available for four guests at the bar after a delectable meal is served in the kitchen. When you aren’t spending time at the beach, venture outdoors to the private backyard with a private pool, green space, grill, and dining table. The first floor features a king bedroom, flat screen TV, and attached bathroom with walk-in shower. Completing this floor is a sleeper sofa in the living room, half bathroom, and a washer and dryer.

The second floor hosts three bedrooms and a wrap-around balcony. The beautiful master bedroom features a king bed, sitting area with sleeper sofa and flat screen TV, balcony access, and an attached bathroom. The incredible spa-like bathroom offers a double vanity, freestanding tub and gorgeous tiled walk-in shower. The first guest bedroom on this floor includes a queen bed and flat screen TV, while the other guest bedroom offers two twin bunk beds with trundles, flat screen TV, and access to the balcony. A hallway bathroom is shared between the guest bedrooms and has a tub/shower combo.

This beautiful home is located in the Crystal Beach area of Destin and is less than a 2-minute walk to the Tarpon beach access and less than a mile from The Crab Trap. For added convenience four beach chairs and a wagon is included. Find your serenity at A Wave From It All.

For the pool to be heated during your stay, we require at least 48 hour notice before your arrival to ensure the pool has time to reach the proper temperature of 88 degrees Fahrenheit. The pool heat charge is $75 per day of your reservation. This home is equipped with a pool heat pump which can operate as intended in weather down to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

It’s as good as it looks! The beach truly is a two minute walk! The house is spacious and well equipped, comfortably sleeping 8 adults and two kids. The customer service team is outstanding! They answered my phones calls promptly and were extremely helpful both times.The outdoor “closet” is well-stocked with beach umbrellas, beach chairs, float toys, a wagon, and pool toys.Kitchen was wide and large enough to have multiple people prepping food. We loved this house and actually looked at extending our trip but it was already booked for another lucky family :)Notes: Tarpon Beach is flanked by private hotel beaches but we still had plenty of room to spread out. To get to the pool from the house you need to go through the downstairs bedroom or out the front door and through the gate to the backyard. (The outdoor dining set is fabulous and sturdy.)There are no cleaning products in the house so bring spray or wipes for the counter and table between meals if you eat in.

Destin Beach Vacation

House was big with lots of space for a big family. Big back yard with good size pool. Older house but clean. Public Beach access very close walking close. No beach chair and umbrella rental. Compass was great. Compass was extremely easy to contact.

Location!

Single family of 7, 5 kids from 21 to 10yrs old. We’ve stayed in Destin beach houses many times over the years, and this was the best location we’ve had. Direct beach access a 1 minute walk away. No golf cart needed. Multiple times we forgot to bring something to the beach and sent someone back to get it and they’d return in 6-7 minutes. House was clean, pool was a little small but just fine for us. Only weird thing was the only access to the backyard from inside the house was through the downstairs bedroom. Wasn’t a big deal for us as we had kids in that bedroom but might be an issue if adults/couple using that bedroom. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it!

Wonderful house in a great location!

The house was beautiful and very nice. We had plenty of room for our 8 guests. The location was AMAZING, a really quick walk to the beach and steps from the scenic highway which is great for biking or walking. It was only about a 5 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and there are restaurants nearby which we biked to. Having a heated pool on the cool nights was also wonderful. There was a misunderstanding on getting the heater turned on the first night and Compass resorts was so helpful and even gave us a refund for the time it wasn't heated. Really impressed with Compass resorts and their responsiveness. Would definitely recommend this location and would come back!

Great location!

We really enjoyed the location but the house does need a little work. Just the small things because you wouldn’t expect broken lights or a fridge without some of the shelving for the price. Other than the small things, house was clean and the location incredible!

Fun Getaway

The house was amazing for our large group. Plenty of room for us all to spread out. Location to the public beach could not be beat! Loved that beach chairs and a wagon were available for us to use. Not too much to complain about. Communication was excellent!

We stayed with 13 girls, and it accommodate us PERFECTLY! Amazing location with the beach access RIGHT across the road! Property manager was super attentive for some changes and maintenance we needed. We would love to come back and use Compass Resorts again in the future!

Best Vacation!

The property was beautiful and well-cared for. The house had all of the amenities you needed to feel at home. We had one issue where the grill didn’t work, but the management company had someone out to fix it within 30 minutes. They were very responsive and courteous.The proximity to the beach was wonderful and made frequent visits to the water easy, even with kids! We all agree that we would stay there again.

Best VRBO Experience

We had a large group of 15 people staying in Destin and this property was incredible.. amazing pool, lots of common area space for socializing, and just STEPS away from the beach. The only downside was that the refrigerator never truly stayed cold, but it could’ve been our fault for overusing it. Would absolutely book here again.

Perfect!

This place was soo great! My friends and I had a lovely time. It was so spacious and clean. The private pool was such a hit but prob not as much of a hit as the beach being less than a 2 min walk. Also, we got to check in early which was so great and so accommodating of the hosts. I’d recommend this place over and over. Thank you so much for making our short yet amazing weekend one heck of a time!

Had everything we needed

2 grandmothers, parents, and grandsons 9 and 4. This place was perfect for us. Easy walk to the beach and we loved the pool. Very convenient to grocery and restaurants and all the things we decided to do. Did have an issue with our fridge not cooling, but it was handled while we were there, and a loaner was brought until while maintenance figured out the problem. Someone (not us) put the drawers in the wrong slots and the door wouldn’t close well. The house is roomy with lots of seating for hanging out and when had our meals there. Everyone was very impressed with the property and we would absolutely come and stay again.

Needs some updating but great location

The house can use some updating. One safety concern we had were the balcony railings. We had a toddler in our group and several of the banisters on the upper porch facing the backyard are rotted and very loose. If someone leans on it, it’s going to break. Our microwave stopped working but someone did come out with a countertop replacement the next day. The inside of the house seemed clean however the outside needs to be power washed badly. Pool tables in the backyard are rusty and falling apart. The pool shed did have a ton of chairs, floats, toys, etc which was very nice. We left more chairs as well as a small cooler for the next guests. The house is in a great location and within a very short distance from the beach!

Perfect Location!

Good time, great location. Just need to fix a few things..

Beautiful House. It should be noted that there is major construction going on next door. Also: *Need a new toaster. It burns the bottom of the bread and does not toast the top. * The stove needs new knobs to tell the difference between high and low. *Most of the windows seem to be stuck. We were only able to open 2. *The 2 bikes tires are flat. *Need new starter button on grill

Beautiful! Will stay again!

We loved everything about this home! It was clean, kitchen well stocked with all the tools we needed (pots, pans, knives, blender, etc). Walking distance to the beach was not bad at all. The Tarpon beach access which is the closest access, doesn’t allow canopies or tents so we just used the next access one block to the right. They provided a beach cart so we were able to tote our items easily. They thought of everything! Thank you so much! We will DEFINITELY be staying here again.

Location, Location, Location

The rented property easily met the needs of our family of ten, ranging in age from 9-years-old to 77- years-old. The only minor disappointment of this rental was the check- in process that was easily corrected by conducting a chat on the rental website. Our younger guests thoroughly enjoyed the pool on the property. The beach was accessed by a short walk of one block. Beach chairs and water toys are available for the use of vacationers, elements not usually associated with vacation rentals. On trash day, a rental employee even moved trash containers to the curb and back to the property after pick-up.
