Kitchen: fully updated with most all cooking utensils, salt/pepper/cooking spray, baking dishes, pots and pans, toaster, blender, and a coffee maker.

Dining: off of the kitchen you will find a dining room with a table for six. We also offer additional seating at the bar for two more guests. Space-saver highchair available in the closet, if needed.

Bedrooms: upstairs you will find 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathroom. All bedrooms have memory foam mattresses, dressers, and nightstands with smart lamps to easily charge your phone at night. Pack-N-Play available in a bedroom closet if needed.

We are conveniently located near the center of Downtown Des Moines. Five minute drive to the Iowa Events Center, Wells Fargo Arena, and all major Hospitals. Also, just a few minutes from the Downtown Farmers Market (Saturday mornings May-October) and the Science Center of Iowa.

Additionally, you will find yourself close to all of our annual events, such as: World Food and Music Festival, The Des Moines Art Festival, and of course the Iowa State Fair.

BIKE: Des Moines BCycle offers rental bikes all around the great city. Closest pick up/drop off points are within a half mile walk on Ingersoll Ave

PARKING: The city has metered parking and garages throughout. Cost ranges from $.25-$1.25 per hour. Meters charge from 9am-9pm M-F and are free on Sunday

For your stay, we provide a starter kit for essentials and toiletries:
- sets of towels/washcloths in each bathroom
- additional rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom
- Shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in each shower
- First couple days supply of coffee
- First few loads of dishwasher and clothes washer detergent pods

AC/HEAT THERMO STAT
Air Conditioner: When using the A/C, do not set the thermostat below 68 degrees. If thermostat is set too low, the unit could freeze. If the unit freezes due to the thermostat being set lower than 68 degrees, guest is subject to fine. Furnace (Heat): When using heat, do not set the thermostat above 78 degrees. If thermostat is set too high, the unit could over heat. If unit over heats due to the thermostat being set higher than 78degrees, guest is subject to fine.

SMOKING
No smoking (including vaping, dab, or hookah) of any kind inside the home. Any smell of smoke/Marijuana/vaping inside the property is subjected to a $1,000 FINE following check-out shared by our housekeeping team

QUIET HOURS
Please be a good neighbor and respect the Quiet Hours, which are between 10:00pm - 8:00am. All noise/disturbance that causes neighbors disruption may incur a $500 fine and have their reservation escalated to Airbnb support for termination of reservation with no refund because that can lead to us being forced off Airbnb by the housing community association. This may sound scary however if your intentions are not to throw a party/event at this property, you will have no issues!

PETS
Your reservation does not include pets. Undisclosed pets will incur a fee of $300, and may result in immediate termination of your stay.

EARLY CHECK-IN POLICY
Early check-in may or may not be possible depending on if the property has been cleaned from our prior guest. We understand schedules change and you may be able to arrive early to the property. We allow a 1 hour early check-in free of charge if the property is cleaned. YOU MUST COMMUNICATE THAT YOU WANT TO CHECK-IN EARLY. Your code to enter the property will not work until 3:00pm unless it is changed by our team. There is a $50/hr charge to check-in earlier than 1 hour.

LATE CHECK-OUT POLICY
Late check-outs exceeding 30 minutes without prior notice will incur a fee of $50/hr until you have checked out, as this impacts our cleaning team`s schedule for preparing for our next guests. While we strive to be as accommodating as possible, we may have guests checking in at 3:00 pm after your stay, necessitating timely cleanings. Please note, this policy is not an allowance for extended check-outs due to the fine being enforced.

No mail or packages allowed to be delivered to this address

BASEMENT
The basement is not part of the guest space and is a restricted area. We kindly ask that guests refrain from accessing it. Please note that unauthorized entry will result in a $50 fee. For security purposes, the basement space is monitored.

*No parking on the grass/lawn; violation of this rule may result in a $100 FINE for any damages incurred

We will do our best to assist you during these circumstances, but please understand that it is beyond our control. As such, we regret to inform you that we cannot provide refunds for any inconveniences caused by such outages.
