The Space:

Waves crash against the rocks below as you sink into warm water on a covered oceanfront patio, steam rising into the cool coastal air. Inside, the glow of a gas fireplace and wide ocean-facing windows set the tone for slow mornings and quiet evenings, with gray whales often passing just offshore. Winter storms roll in dramatically here, turning each stay into a front-row seat to the Pacific.



Sleeping arrangements

This entire first-floor corner condo is set up for two guests. The bedroom features a pillow top king bed (new July 2024), luxury linens, and bathrobes for easy trips between the bedroom and the patio hot tub. The layout includes 1 bedroom and 1.5 baths, with a full bathroom in the master suite and an additional half bath.



Living space

The living room opens directly to the oceanfront patio through a sliding door, filling the space with natural light and nonstop water views. A river rock gas fireplace creates a cozy focal point during cooler months, while comfortable seating and a large smart TV make it easy to unwind indoors. Binoculars are provided for whale and wildlife watching right from the unit.



Outdoor living

Step outside to a large private oceanfront patio overlooking the waves. A private hot tub is available year-round, offering a warm retreat even on brisk coastal days. Outdoor seating lets you linger with a book or simply watch the sea change color as the light shifts.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals at home and features stainless steel appliances, stone counters, and a breakfast island with seating. A small dining area seats two comfortably, ideal for relaxed breakfasts or quiet dinners after a day exploring the coast.



Building amenities

Guests have access to shared resort amenities at The Village at North Pointe, including a heated indoor pool, shared indoor hot tub, fitness room, movie theater, and game room with a pool table. An elevator serves the building, and the condo itself is single-level with no stairs required.



Additional features

Fast Wi-Fi with an ethernet connection supports remote work, and a dedicated workspace is available in a common area. An in-unit washer and dryer add convenience for longer stays. Free parking is available on-site and on the street. Self check-in is provided via a smart lock.



Important notes

This is a no pet or animal home. The setting, views, and layout make this condo especially well suited for couples seeking a quiet coastal escape in any season.

Blue Pacific by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 2 weeks prior to arrival by email and text message.



• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

*The complex amenities are available for guest use during their stays, and are controlled and maintained by The Village at North Pointe HOA.. The pool and hot tub are typically available year-round; hours and schedules are operated by the HOA. Complex amenities are accessed by separate access code provided in guest check-in details. The clubhouse does include bathrooms and free wi-fi.

- Your visit to Depoe Bay is sure to be a memorable one. There is a resident pod of grey whales which makes its home off Depoe Bay from March through December. Visitors from everywhere come to whale watch either from the new Whale Watch Center, the many shore observation spots or you can take a charter out for a closer look.

• Crashing Waves, Spouting Horns & King Tides

- A huge sea wall runs the length of the downtown area which enables visitors to shop or dine always within view of the ocean. This is the only town on the entire coast with this amenity. Waves run beneath lava beds and build pressure to spout water as high as 60 feet into the air. These are known as spouting horns and are visible during turbulent seas and stormy weather. Year round enjoy amazing crashing waves and you cannot miss experiencing the King Tides each winter season with the highest tides and waves of the year!

• World's Smallest Navigable Harbor

- Depoe Bay has the smallest natural navigable harbor in the world consisting of six square acres. Because of the proximity to the ocean, fishermen or whale watchers can be from dockside to viewing or fishing in a matter of minutes.

Getting Around:

The Village at North Pointe Condominium complex is located at the north end of Depoe Bay, which is approximately 11 miles south of Lincoln City and 13 miles north of Newport. Traveling from Portland, take Hwy 99W towards Lincoln City (Oregon Coast), follow signs to the coast and that will put you onto Hwy 18, head toward Lincoln City and that will put you onto Hwy 101 (heading South). Stay on Hwy 101 South through Lincoln City 11 miles to Depoe Bay. Look for the “The Village at North Pointe” sign. (The bike path is on the north side right before the entrance.) Parking is provided within the complex parking lot and along the highway.

While Depoe Bay is more well-known for its gorgeous rocky coastline than for beaches, there is beach access only 5 minutes north of the complex off Hwy 101. Make sure to visit the State Park Fogarty Creek Beach for walkable beaches, exciting tide pools, hiking and covered picnic & BBQ areas!



Interaction with Guests:

Blue Pacific Vacation Rentals by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date (keyless entry). We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check with no need to stop in at a local office. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions/inquiries. We are available to guests 24/7, including our afterhours emergency service.
