Best pool in Denver. It’s actually heated! All other pools say they are but are ice cold. It’s fabulous AND Clean!! Perfect for littles. They have a large cleaning staff and actually work all day. Very impressive!

The beds were very firm, if you like firm box spring beds, you’ll be good. The comforter was very thin. The staff was amazing and the breakfast options were decent.

I reserved a 2 queen room. Was given a king plus a cot, which I was fine with. After I signed the check in and was charged, I was then told there was no tv or shower head. The man at the counter didn't seem to think that was a problem until I said it was. He said he would get the maintenence guy in asap to hopefully take care of the shower. We got into the room to find no blankets on the bed. The sheets looked like they had been there for months. Dust and other particles all over them. There was dirt, spill spots, trash and dead bugs all over the floor. The alarm clock was under the bedside table. Went to ask for blankets and was given 2 of the thin ones that go under the comforter. After discovering the sheets were dirty we went to ask for clean ones. An older woman brought towels. When she was told we needed sheets not towels she responded with an eye roll and walked off with the towels. I decided at that point we weren't staying. The man then came back to the counter to get us checked out. I told him he should have that room cleaned before giving it to anyone else. He had absolutely nothing to say. Not until he handed me my refund receipt. At that point he went on to tell me how the manager would be calling me (never did) and that I should contact Expedia to ensure I got my refund. Not sure how that is Expedia's or my responsibility. If i haven't received my refund by the next 2 business days i will be calling my bank and Best Western corporate office. Worst experience

The guy at front desk was friendly, explained that their system was down so he couldn't look up our reservation but was able to get us a room. Their king bed looked more like a queen. Wish they served breakfast longer

Our only problem was the hotel was very loud doors seem to slam all night long. We were by an exit on the second floor, so maybe the exit door was slamming or the other guest were slamming their doors. We were there for sleep three nights, barely slept any of them, great food was good was good

The dinosaur theme is beyond just artistic. For the dinosaur fan, there are fossils on loan from the Morrison Museum, there are murals from museums, and drawings on the room walls from original paleo-artists. This place is unbelievably cool.

So many good restaurants around. Someone kept dropping nails in the parking lot so my husband kept picking them up so no one’s tires got popped. Will be back for the dinosaurs! Please don’t serve super thin bacon. Staff was very friendly and responded quickly to maintenance issue.

This is an older property which has been very well maintained. Our stay of 7 days went very smoothly with no unexpected charges. Excellent management. Breakfast was the usual waffles, eggs, fresh fruit, etc. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Very bad customer service experience at the check out. This stay was work related. Had a morning meeting in town and was not sure if I can make it by 11 am check out time. Explained situation and asked if I could leave a small cary on at the desk. Was told a simple “no” without any explanation, then asked if I could extend the checkout time by 30-60 min. The answer was “you can buy one more full stay” Checked out by 8:30 am and the front lady was on the phone with her family or friends the entire time.

The dinosaur theme was a pleasant surprise! Nice staff, interesting decor. I had a problem with a door that didn't open easily because "it's been broken for awhile" and the bar was closed because they didn't have a bartender. Not a bad place to stay for a night or two.

Had high hopes, was mildly let down.
We were really excited to stay here with the dinosaur theme and outdoor heated pool etc. There was 1 person working, he was new, but wonderful. The bar was closed due to no staff. The outdoor pool was not very warm and the towel bin had blown into the pool, we ended up in the hot tub which was fine. The room had a couple burned out lights and the bathroom carpet was dirty. Someone left a magic eraser sponge on the windowsill in there. The size of the room was a great value. It was frustrating trying to haul our luggage up to the second floor, due to there not being any elevators. We felt bad for the 1 gentleman that had to work alone.

A fun hotel especially if you are into dinosaurs! Staff was very nice and helpful. Property is somewhat dated and not as clean as it should be. Expedia description of the room was not what it actually is.

Dino-myte hotel!
The Dinosaur Hotel is so much fun! They have a paleontologist come do chats in the lobby and the lobby is full of fossils and other Dino ephemera. They have a hot breakfast, but some items were running low on stock, which was kind of a bummer, but I understand! The heated pool and hot tub were a special bonus and super fun. We came for the dinosaur decorations and theme. My only concerns had to do with details online: there’s no longer a restaurant, just the complimentary breakfast. We also booked a king suite, and they only had a queen suite available. The bed and pillows were comfortable and everything was clean. Staff was polite and friendly.

I had a two night reservation. When i arrive the lady tells me i have 2 bookings i confirmed i only made one. The following day when we come back they inactivated my room key saying i only had made reservations for 1 night. I sent them email confirmation they insisted the couldn't find my booking # which made no sence cause i checked in with the same booking number. They were useless in trying to figure it out.

When we come to Denver to visit family we always stay at this hotel. The staff are great, the accomadations are just what we need and the breakfasts are pretty darn good! The dinosaur theme of the hotel is so unique, educational and well done! The heated pool is so nice and clean and well maintained. If you have young children interested in dinosaurs this will be an awesome place to stay!

The front desk staff and breakfast servers were very pleasant. The hotel was in the vicinity of a neighboorhood and behind an auto service business, but the highway was easily accesible. The parking lot was well lit at night, and housekeeping staff were nice. The hotel was dated and room furniture could use an update.
