«As seasoned travelers over decades, both within Australia and OS, we had high expectations for this 2-night stay which were not met, given the price point. This was not a cheap stay, but we were happy to pay for a different 'experience'. Nice area but!
The obvious things included unlike what was advertised about "Free Wi-Fi. Available in the cottage" it didn't exist. We didn't even have mobile reception unless we walked to the 'Telstra pole' (their written advice in room) at next property where ...

«This hoktel is in a fairly remote location with little around it in terms of accommodation or restaurants. That said, they do a decent job with food and drinks. Not great for vegetarian options, however. Also, no lift to the 2nd floor in the hotel, only stairs. But overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Lufra Beach Hotel. »

«Older property that lacks some modern amenities such as a room safe, a TV in the separate sitting area and we had to ask for a hand towel.
The breakfast was adequate but even though we arrived when breakfast started, the food was cool to warm at best.
