«A great hotel with an amazing view right on the South Sands beach . Quite a distance from Salcombe if you are walking and the roads around the area are very narrow ( single track) and steep. We used the ferry to get to Salcombe although it only runs until late afternoon and costs £5.50 each way . The food was good and quite reasonably priced. The decor at the hotel was a little tired . Lots of dogs were in residence and were made very welcome. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Overall ...

«We didn’t stay! The building was very rundown and communal areas were dirty and it had furniture stacked about the place and nothing like the pictures. The communal toilets were filthy. After walking down various corridors and through doors to access my room the pin code wouldn’t work. I went to find our friends and there was a used syringe on the stairs. Thats when I felt i couldn’t stay. I felt quite uncomfortable in the surroundings. The other room was tatty, dirty and the carpet had stains ...

«Newly built hotel with modern very clean design. Rooms with sea view have a spectacular view. Great location on bus route around Torbay. Breakfast and dinner of good standard. Staff are very efficient, attentive and pleasant. One thing to note is the £15 per day car parking fee.»
