«We had a pleasant stay overall. The location is excellent, with beautiful views and easy access to Torquay. The hotel’s public areas are lovely and full of character, and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The staff were also friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
Our ground floor room was spacious and comfortable, but it would really benefit from a deep clean. It felt a little tired and musty.
One disappointment was that the outdoor swimming pool was out of service. This was ...
«The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals.
The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route.»
«Room was lovely and bright, could just see the estuary in the distance. Comfy bed, bathroom was small.
Food was great, even served roast on Sun evening and it was delicious. We ate both nights of our stay, food was delicious and restaurant really busy which is a good sign.
Staff and locals were very friendly.
All in all a great find.»
«The hotel provides good value accomodation, and has superb sea views. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was comfortable. Free parking was available.»
