«Flott hotell. Vi liker hoteller med særpreg og det har dette hotell. Ut døren og 2 minutter til markedsplassen, topp. Flotte rom med alt vi trengte. Ett stort minus, glassdør til bad uten støydemping. Det er dårlig ! Hyggelig betjening. Frokost var topp i fantastiske omgivelser. Her vil vi være neste gang vi kommer til Brugge. Jan»

«This hotel is simply fantastic. A small hotel (20-25 rooms perhaps?) but for us that just added to the charm. Very nice staff - everybody from the owner to the receptionists to the waiter in the buffet breakfast (try it - recommended!) were so polite and correct (as suited for a high class hotel), yet so friendly.
They also pay attention to detail (handwritten welcome card in your room, chocolate put on your bed every evening etc). It seems they genuinely care and want you to have a good ...

«You can tell this once was a very nice hotel. It has a lot of nice details in the room. Like a beautiful bathtub and the bathroom sinks. There are to many closest and cabinets. There are so many strange holes here and there. It seems impossible to clean because of the strangeness. The sofas are disgusting. They have cheap blankets laid over them. The decorating is terrible. There are fur table cloths. There are insects.
There was nothing wrong with the beds and we did not get any bites.

«Beautiful hotel close to everything. Stunning area especially at night when they light up the buildings. Beautiful room and comfortable bed with good quality linen. Cosy bar downstairs although the bartender who was actually working in reception did not know what cognac or brandy was. Strange. Dogs are allowed. »

«John is a marvelous host. Bruges is small and quiet and packed with atmosphere. To stay at a bed and breakfast so close to everything that is so representative of the city is a genuine European experience. Highest recommendations.»
