A hotel with qualities and challenges
This is a great place to stay in Delhi. But my family really missed more sun beds and better breakfast. We found it also very inconvenient with the lack of information given before events took place by the pool as they were closing it for private event. The bathroom is sometimes a bit smelly, as in the showers are not proper cleaned. However, their service is outstanding and room service is improved.

Flott hotel, godt vedlikeholdt. God AC, badebasseng, god frokost. Høyt prisnivå. Kun 2 uniter innlogget på gratis wi-fi, betaling for resterende. Bra lokalområde, kort vei til serverdigheter. Ingen restauranter I nærheten.

Dette hotel burde nok ikke have 5 stjerner...
Måske var jeg uheldig - men på hotellet blev der afholdt en “Oscar for restauranter” - dette medførte utrolig meget larm frem til kl 23. Og da morgenmaden blev serveret fik jeg at vide at de havde glutenfrie brød - men desværre tog det to dage at forberede.

Flott hotell med familierom
Veldig flott hotell som fikset familierom til oss ved ankomst uten problemer. Spiste bare på hotellet da ville ikke utforske nattelivet med to barn. Et par restauranter, vi spiste kun i den ene som hadde a la carte eller en god buffet. Ene i følget er vegetarianer og var henrykt over utvalget i bufeen. Må ta taxi til det meste, men det er veldig billig med taxi. Tipp topp hotell

Hotel is a solid 3.5 star. Room was spacious, shower was amazing. Zero sound proofing in room, could hear everything. TV is very small and analogue channels. Location is convenient to Connaught Place, but there's really nothing in terms of retail or commercial facilities right outside the hotel - ie have to walk quite a bit or take 5 minute by transport to Connaught Place. Restaurant was OK and breakfast buffet had many options. All in all, a decent place but unsure I'd stay again.

The only complaint I have is that the free WiFi internet was capped at 1MB/s and choppy. I've stayed in far worse hotels which provided much faster Free Wifi internet service. I the internet were faster I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Great hotel for our first time in New Delhi. Staff are excellent, accommodating, friendly and want to make your stay memorable. Used the pool and took advantage of the spa facilities. Minor point is that some aspects of the hotel could be refreshed like the seating in the bar, pool towels were clean but are close to needing replacement. These things are not as important to us as the incredible service provided by all areas of the hotel operations. They really made our stay special.

I frequently travel to Delhi. This has become my favorite property. It is close to great restaurants in connought place, close to metro to the airport, close to railway station, not very far from the airport, and above all the staff is very pleasant and friendly. Mr. Pankaj, the manager, is exemplary with smiling service and top notch efficiency. 5 stars from me.

Staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was great. The hotel did not permit for any drinks or food to be consumed next to the pool and in fact whilst the pool was right next to the restaurant there was no direct access. You had go back to the lift, go to the lower ground floor, go through the spa and then out just to get 5 metres away from where you started. The pavement outside the hotel was in a terribly poor state and made the place feel unsafe.

Könnte viel besser sein. Fehlten die Vorzüge des 5-Sterne-Hotels.Als wir aus dem Aufzug in unser Stockwerk kamen, roch es im Flur sehr unangenehm (nach Rauch?) Unser Zimmer war groß; hatte ein schönes großes Bett, einen langen Tisch (perfekt geeignet für ein Büro) 2 Stühle, eine semi Chaise und einen großen Schrank mit Bademänteln, Bügeltisch, Bügeleisen und ein safe.there war auch ein minifridge. wir waren 2 Flaschen Wasser, Kekse und Früchte als kostenlos jeden Tag zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Badezimmer war gut beleuchtet, groß und sauber mit allem, was wir brauchen. Aber Das Kopfteil des Bettes war an vielen Stellen sichtbar schmutzig und es war sehr laut in das Zimmer. Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße hin und in der Nacht konnten wir den Verkehr und das Gespräch der Leute, die auf dem Korridor lief. Wir haben nicht gut schlafen können. Es gibt 3 Restaurants im Hotel, wir haben nun noch der Zing ausprobiert. Das Essen im Zing ist durchschnittlich und der Kaffee und Tee kosten 400Rs für eine sehr verwässerte Konsistenz und unterdurchschnittlichen Geschmack. Unsere meinung nach dieser Ort ist nicht der Preis wert. Das Frühstück kostet 1000Rs pro Person und die Croissants in der kontinentalen Seite des Frühstücks war definitiv nicht Croissants und schlecht, das Müsli ist übermäßig süß. Der Rest der Sachen war Donuts und Desserts. Das einzige, was uns beim Frühstück gefiel, waren die Eier. Der Pool war angenehm. Also fühlten wir uns nicht besser als ein durchschnittliches 3* Hotel.

When we booked our stay through Expedia, it clearly stated that breakfast was included in our reservation. However, upon arrival, we were informed that breakfast was not included and that it would be an additional 1800 RS/- per person. This was disappointing and misleading, as we had specifically chosen this hotel based on the advertised inclusion of breakfast. It is essential for the hotel to ensure that the information provided on booking platforms align with the services they offer to avoid such discrepancies. Overall, while our stay at the Metropolitan Hotel & Spa was satisfactory in terms of accommodation, the misleading information left a source taste in our mouths. We hope the hotel addresses this issue to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

Location is great. Near the Sikh temple and Connaught place so good for exploring that area. Staff were friendly apart from the ones outside including the security who were encouraging us to get a hotel taxi and not a tuktuk. We got tuktuk from outside with no issues. The room wasn’t the cleanest. It was basic. Facilities including the gym are basic too. Not five star as advertised but it was the cheapest in the area and ok for an overnight stay.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to CP and shopping. We liked the property overall. We felt there was bias based on your background and almost felt the need to tip for everything. And one time we offered the tip and it was refused probably due to it wasn’t enough on staff’s expectations which felt a bit awkward. Other than that zing restaurant’s staff was great and we loved the breakfast options and taste of the food. Kudos to the chefs.

Feels like home
This is my fifth time to stay in this hotel. It just feels like home and you get personalized service. I feel so at home. The bed and beddings are so comfortable so I always get good sleep in this hotel. I also love their toiletries. Breakfast as always is good and offers a wide selection. Staff is so friendly and helpful.

Beware of currency exchange
Good hotel in good area. Dinner was a little expensive but great service and no risk of a bad stomach so was worth it. Beware of getting currency exchange here as you get a bad rate and we were either short changed or there is a extortionate commission/fee for doing so. Was a nice trip for the price considering it's in the posher side of Delhi but our stay got ruined the following morning when using the currency exchange
