  • We are a newly renovated vacation home in Deer Lake, NL. Just a 5 minute drive from the airport we are located directly across the street from the Deer Lake Beach. Our unit is within walking distance to many outdoor activities and food establishments. Deer Lake itself is centrally located in Western Newfoundland and is just a 45 minute drive to Gros Morne National Park. Not only are we an ideal location for a summer beach retreat we offer ATV access and are a hub of snowmobile activity in the Winter. Marble Mountain is a short 20 minutes drive and Minor Hockey maintains a steady stream of activity in the Winter months. We boast a 5 star rating on both Airbnb and VRBO and we are known for our beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy units. Weekly rates and discounts are avaliable.

Lovely unit in a house right across the street from the beach in a cute neighborhood. Easy access to dining or you can cook in the apartment. We met the owner and he was very gracious, looking to make sure we had a great stay. He even bought us breakfast when we ran into him at Tim’s. I booked through VRBO and didn’t receive the check in information prior to our arrival. I called the host when we got there and they texted the information right away. I would absolutely recommend By the Beach. Perfect for a family or two couples travelling together.

This place had everything that you could possibly need for an excellent stay. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 as an ensuite), a fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room. Perfect for our group of 2 couples. It's located right across the road from the beach, which made it handy for an after supper walk. We hit the local grocery store and made an easy supper in the kitchen, using the airfryer provided. Would definitely recommend this location!

We enjoyed our stay at By the Beach unit B. It was close to the beach, across the road. The house was clean and homey. Lots of towels and clean linen. I found the rental a bit pricey for the size of the place. But overall a nice place to stay.

What a gem!! We were a party of two couples and found the unit suited our needs perfectly. Beautifully renovated with lovely decor, comfy beds, nice linens and towels. Located across the road from the beach where there is a small beach style restaurant. We were fortunate to have warm weather and the air conditioner was a welcome feature. Would love to come back and highly recommend!

By the Beach - unit B was perfect for 2 couples. It was clean, newly renovated, had 2 bathrooms and walk across the road to a lovely sandy beach. Brian was very helpful in suggestions of where to eat and where to get fresh seafood. Off the Hook which was delicious. You may hear planes fly overhead during the day but nothing thru the night. Highly recommended this apartment.

Loved the property lots of room for 4 adults. Met the owners Leslie and Brian. Lovely folks. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Deer Lake. Close to airport as well.
