THE SPACE
HOT TUB and giant fenced deck!! Welcome to Star View Cabin! The space has been setup to accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably. The easy to access main floor includes the kitchen, living room, large dining room table, 1 king bedroom, a bedroom with 4 Twins (2 bunks), and a full bath. Upstairs includes another full bath along with a 1 King Bedroom. Downstairs includes an open family room with tv and space to lounge as well as a 1 Queen bed in the same space. There also is a full bath, laundry room and lower deck access.

The new, well equipped kitchen has all full size appliances including a gas range and smaller appliances like crock pot, blender, Keurig and drip coffee maker, cooking utensils and pots and pans, cookie sheets, strainers, knives etc. Exceptionally well stocked for the pickiest cook.

Approx. 8 miles to the closest grocery store but Instacart delivers from several stores if anything is forgotten. Wireless Wifi internet has supported multiple people working from home and is Fiber Speed over a hard line.

Renters have access to the outdoor pool during the summer months as well as hiking trails, clubhouse, fitness center, tennis, campground, fishing, paddle boating, and more at no additional cost. Don’t forget to star gaze in the amazingly dark sky!

Just minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Rocky Knob Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, New River Tubing, horseback riding at Leatherwood Stables, breweries, wineries, camping, fly fishing, and Elk/Laurel Creek, this property is perfect for your next family vacation. Drive less than an hour to ski or snow tube with the kids, 30 minutes to App State football games, and High Country festivals/concerts for more family fun! The house is a great getaway, located just a few hours from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Raleigh.

All linens, starter paper towels and toilet paper provided. Dogs welcome with $50 fee, max two. Smoking is prohibited at all cabins and there is a $250 fine for anyone that smokes or vapes inside.

Virtual tour is available. There is no additional fee to use the community amenities. Fishing in the ponds within the community is welcome without a permit. If you fish on Elk Creek you will need a fishing license. The ponds are not for swimming but the river at the campground is a great place to take a dip! This house does not have an outdoor firepit but we encourage guests to reserve a campground site for their night of s'mores!

Wood burning fireplaces on two levels. Wood is not provided but you can purchase at local grocery stores. Check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am.

You will easily be able to park two cars in the driveway a third depending on size. Additional vehicles can be parked in the overflow lot by the clubhouse.

Other things to note

You do not need 4wd unless we are expecting a nasty storm and you need to get out right away. Please be prepared for those situations. There is a gated entry to the community and you do need to come in the front gate. You will get a guest pass at the front gate when you check in during normal business hours or on Sat from 7am till 5pm. If you arrive in the evening please just pick up your pass the next day.

- A signed rental agreement is required to fully confirm this booking.
- ALL Trash must be bagged in large kitchen bags, including pup pick up bags. $25 fee per bag if it doesn't fit in the provided outside trash container. We do NOT recycle but there is a recycle center nearby off Jakes Mountain Road.
