We loved this place. We lost our daughter a year ago and wanted to get away from home and visit her resting place in Weymouth. This place was a happy haven where we laughed danced and enjoyed a nice family vacation. It lifted our spirits. We plan to go every September now. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place. The owners were amazing. I only wish we had stayed longer. If I'm in the area again I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We rented the Eagle cottage with another couple. It was the best cottage we have ever rented. We were shocked when we opened the door. The deck was amazing. You could see the incredible tides coming in and out. The cottage was clean, updated, comfortable, and spacious. Gavin was an amazing host who gave us suggestions and we texted frequently. This property is amazing and we will return and I highly recommend it.

We stayed the Heron cottage, and my husband and I loved every moment of it! Gavin and Laura were perfect hosts, attentive but not intrusive, and knowledgeable about the area. We had our own little deck overlooking the water - stunning sunsets! It was cool but sunny weather; the walk along the beach during low tide was brisk but we enjoyed the scenery and watching the clam diggers! Highly recommend this property :)

Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft um die Gegend um Digby, Digbyneck und Annapolis zu erkunden. Das Hotel mit den alleinstehenden Bungalows steht erhöht auf einer Klippe und von der Bungalowterrasse hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Bucht. Einfach wunderbar. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Gastgeber Gavin und Laura.

Beautiful peaceful historic
This was a wonderful place to stay. We had the Linden cottage- 2 bedroom and it was like a home away from home. The space is clean and so peaceful. My kids loved the cottage. The beach was great for exploring. Close to Digby, Annapolis Royal and Port Royal- and this property is at the mouth of the very historic Bear River. Home to historic Micmaq and Acadian communities. You stand on very historic land here. Gavin was wonderful. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Fantastic grounds, suite we had was huge and super clean with a huge balcony off the kitchen. Very close to Digby. Wonderful friendly staff We stayed there with our grandchildren and they loved all the walking trails! Highly recommend

Gavin was a great host, the gardens and view were lovely, and the suite we stayed in was clean and well-equipped. We had a very pleasant stay. The location is central and easy-to-access right in the middle of Annapolis basin.

Beautiful site, lovely cottage, and all a short drive from whale watching, trails, and Digby. Staff were super-helpful, and the short trails around the Lodge were very pretty and perfect for a morning and evening walk.

Beautiful views and walking trails all around the property. Pictures online to do not the property or cottages justice. Highly recommend the “Sumac Cottage” for any couple looking for a relaxing getaway - it is clean and has all the amenities you need.

Totally enjoyed our 2 night stay in the SUMAC cottage on this property. Check-in was very simple, area was very peaceful and scenic and the cottage itself was very clean and stocked very well.

Our vacation had started out rough. Due to the hurricane, our reservation at another place was cancelled the morning of. We had to scramble. Fortunately, Gavin had a place available. Gavin sensed we'd had a rough first day and went the extra mile! He even had a fire going in our fireplace because we had to find a restaurant before they all closed that night. I'm sure he and his team had a lot going on too, since they had to recover from hurricane Dorian. But, you'd never know it. The grounds were clean and the property was immaculate. And Gavin's only focus was on helping customers. The place has beautiful views of Digby. It sits right on the water. It's peaceful and relaxing. My wife and I feel that this was better than our original plan (dumb luck!). We'd stay there again!!!

A comfortbale cabin on a cliff overlooking the bay
Still Point Lodge is situated on a cliff on a large estate. The individual cabins differ but ours (Heron) had a fireplace and a separate deck on the edge of the cliff with great views and with its own firepit. The cabin is very comfortable but a little dated without tv or dishwasher but with good wifi and well equiped kitchen. It is well maintained and has a comfortable bed in a large bedroom and a fine leather couch and easy chair in front of the fire. A wonderful place away from it all with a great and responsive host. Higly recommended!
