«This was a wonderful experience, very friendly staff who were always ready to help, offering glasses of chilled water in the spacious and well-furnished public rooms and alcohol in the evenings. We stayed in the large Shakespeare room, often used as a Bridal Suite. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, a jacuzzi and unusual sauna.
Really good breakfasts served in bedrooms and at the nearby sister-hotel Milsoms. The fine dining at the main restaurant on the nearby River Stour was sublime, ...

«The Gatehouse is amazing and the rooms 5 star. The receptionist was amazing pick us up and drop us off after lovely meal and drinks.
Restaurant
The restaurant staff were lovely and it was an extremely busy night for them. Starter was selection of cooked meats and wafers on wood board. Had steak with chunky fries and the sauce was amazing. Overall the food was star of the show. The lounge was quiet and classy the bar manager was a class act and great professional presence. »
