«The Ann Stevens House was a short stay. We went to the Daytona 500 about 26 miles away. It was quaint with antiques placed in our 2nd story room. The mattress was rather hard, but not horrible. There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. »

When we got to the room, it didn’t seem like it had been cleaned properly—there was hair in the bathroom and even a ring left behind from a previous guest, which was concerning. For fresh fruit there were bananas and individually wrapped apples, choice of two or three cereals, made-to-order waffles, eggs, spinach and bacon egg-bake, and pastries, coffee and a couple varieties of tea.
