First, the condo. We were not able to check-in earlier than 4pm on the dot. That was fine, however no orientation to the resort during check-in. The good: plenty of seating, lots of pillows, comfortable beds, lots of space, great view, close to the elevators and still quiet, plenty of bath towels. The condo was as pictured, however it was dirty. The showers were dirty with hair still stuck on the walls and floors. Mold on the shower nozzles and drains. A lot of dinged up walls and paint chips. The balcony light did not work. Sliding glass door: front, middle, both sides were filthy. To no fault of the owners, the resort does not handle their pool towel service any longer, so bring your own. There are also no other pool or beach toys, chairs, etc for use. The hot water went out the first night we were there. We contacted the owners and was told simply, "Let front desk know". There was no phone in the unit and they did not give us the number, but we walked down and they said it was out for the whole south tower. No follow up from the owners or anything. Lastly, the resort itself. We've been staying at OceanWalk for over 10 years. Lots of amenities - pools, putt putt, great location, and more. We haven't been back to this resort for a few years. We did notice it is becoming dated and some of the shops and stores around are gone. Overall, we knew what to expect and the resort was what we knew it would be. The resort does cater to north wing,not the owner/guests of south wing.
