«First things first: I hugely recommend. Wonderful. The rooms, rather, our room, was great. Lots of light during the day. That place on earth is Dark at night. Also silence. Amenable to life. There is beautiful small river on the property. River, not babbling brook. But not the Missi...spelling, you know what I mean. «We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. »
