First of all, I had to clean my own room when I arrived, , the worker helped me because apparently there was nothing else available even though I had booked my reservation through Expedia. One of the beds in the room was broken. One of the beds didn’t have a headboard. There was food stuck on the inside of the refrigerator and inside of the microwave, there was about an inch of dust around the edge of the entire room. It was worse behind the nightstand, there was a conch all over the hairdryer. There was black mold, coming out of the vents, I even had to vacuum, they discriminated against my service dog, there was no other place in the area for me to stay, I had my daughter stay with another teammate the second night and we didn’t even stay the third night and we still got charge for everything and they also charge me a patchy even though they said they weren’t going to charge for my dog that is a service dog . I tried to change rooms and they kept on showing me rooms that were worse than the room that I had already cleaned and when I asked them was it because of my dog, they said yes, so they’re again they are discriminating against my service dog, furthermore, Pool didn’t work they advertise the pool does work, they were pissed that I had booked through Expedia and that if I had any problems I should contact Expedia and one of the workers said that they don’t even know why Expedia is trying to partnership with them in the first place and then when I asked to speak with who

This has got to be the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. Checked out after less than 2 hours after finding bed bugs, dead bugs all around the room, bathroom counter very sticky, also refused to refund my money....AFTER LESS THAN 2 HOURS!!!!!! THIS HOTEL NEEDS SHUT DOWN!!!!! IT'S OBVIOUS THEY HAVE NO IDEA EVEN WHAT BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE IS!!!

They said they offer free breakfast but they didn’t even have anything except plain rice crispies.. No yogurt or anything.. My room was horribly dirty and it seemed as though it hadn’t even been cleaned..

The house keepers don’t do they job it’s was bugs when I we check in and the window was broke so you could feel all cold air at night end up getting the room changed got a new room. They give me room 128 and it was some wat clean but I when it was time to go to bed I couldn’t sleep it felt like something kept biting me and I cut the lights on got out the bed took the sheets off and look at the edges of the bed and it was bed bugs even coming out the bathroom sink like wow I went to the front desk he was no help he tied to give me another room instead of a refund and we went to go check that room.Room 202 had bedbugs to and then he gone tell me nobody really use the room but it was bed bugs.The pool was down and they didn’t know when they are gone fix it. And I also got a got the room with the hot tub it wasn’t no hot tub it was a stage. Every picture they have online is a lie matter a fact the whole motel need to be closed down I mean I even had mold on the bed from top to bottom I also have a lot of pictures. And he want me to keep it down so nobody here’s or knows. But over all stay was horrible I mean horrible

The worst experience
My family and I stayed here this past weekend and had to leave asap. There was feces on the toilet, no tv, and several lights were working in the room for my kids. In our room there were bedbugs on the bed and got on my husbands jacket. They offered us other rooms which we tried to stay in but when we pulled the blanket back on the bed there was urine on the mattress pad and sheets. I asked to speak to the manager several times to no avail and was given a partial refund!!!!! I paid $228 per room and only received $166, this is crazy . I need information on what to do going forward to get my full refund. I also took videos of the mess and the bump my husband received due to being bite by a bed bug. I had to spend $600 on another hotel that night because we refused to stay there any minute longer. We came back the next day and asked to speak to the manager and was told she was not there and unavailable, while there one of the cleaning staff told us that one of the rooms we had was not supposed to be in use. I want all my money …

Terrible hotel
The man at the desk checked us into the wrong room then proceeded to tell us we were wrong and booked the wrong room even though he knew what room we wanted cause he had to add that they were out of those rooms. He then lied to hotels.com when they called to check on it after I complained.

Absolutely disgusting. Went through 4 rooms. First room had chip crumbs on the table and hair in the bed. Second room toilet didn’t flush and tub was dirty. Third room pee stains on the sheets and jacuzzi was absolutely filthy still had dirt covering it. Fourth room meth pipe under the mattress (I found it checking for bugs) left it there because I wasn’t touching it and staff refused to as well. I have pictures of the third and fourth room finds but i don’t think I can upload them on here. Was going to get a refund but would have had to wait up to 7 days and would have had nowhere else to stay for the night. Was there to celebrate my husband’s birthday out of town and that put a real damper on the trip. Needless to say we did not sleep well at all. STAY AWAY!

No trash can in the room. No Alarm clock. Pillows on bed were smaller than the bath towels. No soap or shampoo. None of the outlets would hold a plug. I have never seen that before on an electrical outlet. The TV in the room is probably 32". I do not expect much but really.

The bathroom was very dirty, BM on the toliet seat. Carpet was very dirty with debris all over floor. The smoke detector was missing from the wall, just the wires and plate there. Only one lamp in the room had a light bulb. The heater rattled so loud you couldn’t use it. The sidewalks and parking lot were not shoveled and it had been a week since snow fall. Overall the room was very dirty.

At checkout I was told that I was not allowed to wait inside the lobby for my Uber Driver to arrive. I politely waited outside of the lobby for over 45 minutes before my Uber was available. Was told By the house cleaner that only this attendant makes African American guest as myself, leave the lobby space immediately after checking out.

Whatever you pay is too much.
As a whole, the entire property was not cared for. Toilet ran continuously, etc. The hotel and room smelled of mildew, dirty feet, and bad curry. The free breakfast was bread and terrible coffee. Towels were difficult to come by, and we were charged to have more than one key. The electronic sign advertised a heated pool, but it was out of order.

The bed was comfortable, and that’s all I have to say that’s good. The desk clerk, upon check-in, question my service dog, to which I replied what his service was. Then he asked me about my disease/disability, and if it would ever be cured. I advised him that was inappropriate and illegal. He argued with me. As I was videotaping our exchange, he tried to grab my cell phone and told me that I could not record him. When I got to the room, there was no toilet paper, and only one bath towel, and one towel to stand on. No hand towel no wash cloths Whatsoever. The photos and advertisements show a waffle maker, yogurt, the usual, super ate breakfast, but just now when I went down for breakfast, there was only cold cereal, bread for toast, and coffee. The desk clerk said that she ordered food two weeks ago, but she had no food in the back. I wish I would’ve stayed elsewhere, and I almost did. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, management is poor.

The room smelled like someone was chain smoking in the room before we arrived. There was hair in the shower on the walls and stains on the bed. The lights and plugs also did not work. 10/10 would NOT recommend

No room service for 6 days , I have to go get towels every day , no hand soap , no TP , hotel looks decent but if you plan to stay longer make sure you get your own cleaning supplies .

I already sent an earlier review, citing stained bedsheet, no TP, and night clerk who talked in a foreign language on SPEAKER phone instead of focusing on my check-in procedure. THEN later I noticed there was no soap, found poop on toilet seat and grimy tissue dispenser! To be honest, because I am on SS, I was thrilled to find a convenient hotel location at a budget price to facilitate a long day of driving. I left Ankeny at 5 AM and drove to Springfield IL for a funeral service and dreaded driving all the way back home the same day. The price enabled me to break up my trip. In retrospect, I realize that a budget price is not an adequate trade off for disgusting, unhygienic conditions. I don’t think I will be staying at this hotel ever again. The only upside was the morning desk clerk. She was friendly and wrote down all my concerns as I showed her the pictures. I have traveled all over the world in my life and only encountered one hotel that was worse than this one. Words cannot describe my disappointment.

Rooms were disgusting I had to drive to Walmart and pick up Lysol and clean the whole room before even staying there. I should’ve gotten another hotel as soon as I got the but I had to work that morning and I had just drove 4 hours. The bathtub has 3 years of gunk stuck to it. To tell you the least as soon as I used the bathroom the toilet has urine stains all over it. Hotel carpet hallways we like a theatre room after a movie. Never been vacuumed. Never. First and last time going cheap on hotels! Pictures can be very misleading.

The property had bugs I’m pretty sure and they failed to tell us they didn’t have clean linen when we called and ask we waited an hour just for them to tell us they didn’t have any.
