Our family trip to Dallas was ruined by a distressing experience at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Grand Prairie South. We booked our stay from April 5 to April 9, 2024, hoping for a comfortable and hassle-free vacation. Unfortunately, our expectations were far from met due to a shocking mishap by the hotel management.
We had a smooth check-in on April 5th and were initially pleased with the facility. However, upon returning from a day trip on April 8th, we were blindsided by the fact that our room had been checked out by the management. This inexplicable action left us stranded at midnight without a place to stay. The hotel staff, including the receptionist Lex and manager Silvia, were unhelpful and dismissive. They insisted that we had initiated the checkout, a claim that was completely unfounded and untrue.
To make matters worse, another family who traveled with us encountered the same baffling situation. They, too, found themselves without accommodations in the middle of the night. The ordeal was particularly tough on the children, who were tired and confused by the sudden upheaval.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the hotel staff provided no viable solutions, leaving us to scramble for alternative accommodations at an ungodly hour. The lack of empathy and accountability from the hotel management was deeply disappointing.
I cannot recommend La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Grand Prairie South to anyone, especially families.
