I am extremely disappointed with the dishonest handling of my cancellation. My son had a medical emergency (high fever) on the check-in day. I called the hotel and spoke to Kristin. She specifically told me she consulted with the management team, and their instruction was to process the cancellation through Expedia since it was a 3rd party booking.
I trusted her and followed the management's direction immediately. However, when Expedia contacted the hotel to process the waiver, the hotel denied it. The management told me to go to Expedia to cancel, then refused the refund when Expedia called. Why send a guest on a wild goose chase if you were going to say 'no' anyway? This is not just poor service; it is misleading and unethical.
