Although it is a no frills kind of room, the uniqueness makes it a fun and a memorable experience. «The room was clean and they did give us new towels even on days they didn't do full cleaning services, which I appreciate. We were given a handicap room and the shower was a little run down and off color. No conditioner or lotion bottles, only a bar soap, with no holder for the soap, and a shampoo bottle. The breakfast was very basic, there were waffles, so if you're looking for that, they have it. No protein options though. We ended up going to Waffle House which was very close by. They do have ...

«The lodge is a beautiful hidden gem! Rooms are very nice and clean. The view from the window is amazing, and you can go down and sit outside to enjoy that view of the mountains even more. There's a restaurant on-site that's pretty good, and in addition to hiking the Falls while you're there, you can do ziplining and archery as well. Great place!»

«I asked for a room in front of the hotel when I arrived because I am disabled but she wouldn't give me one because they have an elevator. When we let to get dinner the close parking was taken. It was harder on me getting things in and out. I paid an extra 30.00 for my pet but they hadn't mowed thier grass which made it hard to walk him. I just feel if they allow pet's they should have a place for them to walk. The area was nice it was right up the street from all the shops.»

Minus: room needed a rehab, hooks loose / fell down from wall, no change of towels, breakfast below medium standard, impossible to reach reception on email or telephone in advance, expencive, did not accept corporate price.»

«Unlikely to stay there again. It was quaint, but lacking in amenities. The lobby didn't open until 8:00 AM for coffee which is too late for an early riser. A small coffee maker in the room would solve this problem. Be aware (as I was not) you are renting a bedroom, no TV and you are a few miles from a restaurant so make sure you have snacks. This set-up may work for some travelers but I found it lacking in amenities that would make the stay a bit nicer. It was clean, but the pool was not open ...

«OMG please someone tell me how this was the highest rate location in Helen? The front desk was micro and the room had a huge hole in the ceiling. Breakfast was questionable at best. The hallways smelled like pee. There were people banging on our door at 2am like swat and screaming. We feared moving from the bed because of this. Worse part is we were in eyesight of the front desk and no one did anything. The shower ceiling and walls had mold on them. It was only a room for one night but ...
