Newly renovated stilted 2Bd/2Ba furnished vacation home features an oversized 45' concrete seawall perfect for those with larger boats! The dock amenities include dock posts, cleats, swim ladder, outdoor shower, water, electric and fish cleaning table plus and enclosed storage room to store your dive and fishing gear as well as a bait freezer for added convenience. The main living room is bright and airy and overlooks lovely long range canal views on a 60' wide canal. The living room features an open floor plan with sleeper sofa, flat screen TV and reclining chair that leads out to a covered porch with table and chairs. The kitchen features full line of appliances with lots of countertop space for cooking and entertaining guests with a connecting dining room with table that seats six. The master bedroom features a queen bed with full size bathroom, flat screen television with Direct TV. The guest bedroom features a queen bed, closet storage with access to private balcony and access to the full size hallway bathroom. Additional amenities include central air conditioning, ceiling fans, osculating fans, 3 bicycles, WIFI, covered porch, covered balcony and covered parking.

Great location. The house was fantastic. Beautiful views. Lots of great restaurants nearby. My only complaint was the most of the clean towels had hairs on them. Overall very nice

Love the property

I stayed on the property for the second time and I love it. This time it was more clean that 1st time, but the utility room where is the freezer was close. We had a great time. I highly recommend it

Almost, but not quite

I’m writing the review that I wish I had read prior to booking this property. In fairness and in full transparency, I did not contact the property manager about my concerns during my stay. I didn’t feel the issues were safety related and I didn’t want to take time or energy away from my short vacation to have them addressed. Additionally, what I consider to be significant shortcomings, other renters may not care about. While the property was clean (accept for the cheetos between the couch cushions), there was chipping and flaking paint throughout, especially in the kitchen. The shower drain in the hallway bath drained so slowly that several inches of water accumulated during a shower. The exhaust fan in the same bathroom had no cover leaving a dirty hole in the ceiling. There were loose floor tiles that shifted under your weight in the master bedroom. Lightbulbs were missing from fixtures in the dining area and bathrooms. Again, none of these issues greatly effected our stay and the house was functional. However, some minor upkeep and maintenance would have been nice for the price that I paid. On some positive notes: the wifi worked and the Roku TV provided something to watch during our down time; There were plenty of towels and bedding and the kitchen appliances all worked; The air conditioner worked well and the ceiling fans provided some nice air circulation…both really appreciated to escape the August heat. Overall it could have been a nice place, but not quite.

Very nice vacation

We had a great time at this house. It had everything we needed and more! Plenty of room for 18 foot boat. Plenty of room for all of my fishing equipment and I got to keep all of that plus my car underneath the structure so it wasn’t out in the sun all day. I’m a Venture out regular and this has been the most comfortable stay. Plus… a downstairs refrigerator and separate bait/fish freezer. Caught yellowtail, mutton, lane and mangrove snapper! Caught 3 keeper mangrove snapper at night behind the house in the canal thanks to the neighbors underwater light. I will be back. Thanks again for a great stay!!

This property was filthy and MOLDY. I have reached out to the property management company, Waterfront Keys, on several occasions to resolve the issues we had with the property. Waterfront Keys finally responded that they contacted VRBO on our behalf. Yet, we’ve still heard NADA.

House was fine but definitely needs some improvements

Broken chairs on the patio both upstairs and downstairs. There were 6 of us and the only way we could sit together outside was to bring kitchen chairs downstairs. Kitchen was sparsely stocked. We were asked to start a load of laundry before departure but there was no laundry soap so we had to buy our own. A key was never provided upon check in on Friday and the soonest we could get one was Sunday. Location to get to ocean was excellent but to get to gulf is terrible. On a decent size boat it’s a 6 mile trek to get to gulf. Sofa bed is terrible and should not even be considered as a bed. Not near enough pillows. Dockage is great and extremely convenient and storage shed was excellent with freezer inside but without a key is not secure. When in the keys to fish again, I won’t return here.

Fishing Base

The house was clean, cosy, equiped with the basics in a nice community that has a pool and direct access to the ocean. For me was the perfect fishing base that gave me access to the different fishing spots in the area. The house has a cleaning area where you can clean the catched of the day and a grill where you can cook it, which I did. A nice place to stay if you don't mind having neighbors nearby, the houses and RV's are very closed together. All in all we enjoyed this place very much and will comeback again.
