«Not sure why this place has such a high rating. Don't get me wrong, the property is very nice amd historic and the gardens are well kept. However the main functions that the hotel should provide are more of a 6/10 for me. The bed was incredibly hard and V-shaped in the middle. Maybe the bed is 500 years old too? «Gaining entry was a nightmare. It was impossible to enter without filling in an online form for both of us and the form wouldn’t accept our passport and other details. When we spoke to the owner he was helpful but it was a terrible and stressful start to our stay. The lift didn’t work so we had to carry our bags upstairs.
