Beautiful Rocky Mountain Apartment

Large 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment with kitchenette. Large family room also has a sleeper sofa and pool table, satellite television, and internet. The property features incredible views of the Rocky Mountain West Elk Wilderness, is approximately 8 miles from the Black Canyon National Monument and several amazing wineries. This property is located in a somewhat rural area and enjoy some peace and quiet or get away into the Rocky Mountains with hiking, fishing, hunting, and more! RV slips with electrical hookups also available.

Rest and Relaxation!
The hosts communicated details about travel to get there that was very helpful :). They were very kind, friendly upon arrival and the place was clean and had a warm feel that all enjoyed! We slept great and woke up to a quiet, peaceful mountain view! We'd absolutely stay there again, thank you!

Enjoyable Stay.
Very clean and well furnished with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Craig and Anna were great hosts and very helpful. The Black Canyon was awesome and we found plenty of things to do in the area while visiting. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful home, wonderful hosts
Owners were so welcoming and friendly. The home was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils you would need. Plenty of games, pool table and cornhole to enjoy. Minutes from the north rim and many trails. Yet private with picturesque views.

Fantastic apartment
The apartment was out in the country. It was Peaceful and we were greeted by a very friendly kitty. The place was neat, tidy, and beds were very comfy. We would absolutely stay there again if we were in the area.

Amazing place to stay!!

Black Canyon and Wineries
Had a wonderful stay! The host and his wife were very nice and gave us a bunch of suggestions on where to go. The place was clean and the bed was very comfy. Had great views and was quiet. We did a day trip to black canyon (north rim had less people). We then toured the wineries. The best was Big B's which had cider and amazing BBQ. It was a fun area for a quiet get-away.

Peaceful Crawford Stay!!
Craig and his wife are awesome hosts!! They gave us history of the area, tips on where to go and things to do, and just friendly conversation. They even supplied an RV spot last minute for our friends to accommodate!! The property was wonderful! Everything was taken care of (pots and pans, linens, appliances, etc.) All you had to do was show up! My kids loved playing pool, corn hole, and walking the property. Everything was clean and decorated just like the pictures show. Beds were comfy, the shower was huge, and the rooms were nice size. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to others!!

Fantastic Stay!
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Western Skies Ranch as we paddled, hiked, and explored the Western Slope of Colorado. Anne and Craig were wonderful hosts and the cabin was perfect for our family of 4 (2 parents and 2 adult kiddos). The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. I highly recommend staying at the Western Skies Ranch.

Western Skies stay
My family and I were welcomed by our host and allowed to check in a little early. We appreciated that. Craig gave us a friendly overview of the apartment and property and made some recommendations for outings. The apartment was cozy, rustic, and welcoming. We enjoyed use of the pool table and sitting on the patio while we grilled and enjoyed the sunset. The beds were so comfortable that we almost didn’t want to get up. It was short drive to Back Canyon NP (south rim) and to Paonia (wineries) I would definitely recommend Craig’s place if you are nearby.

Black Canyon North Rim Awaits
If you are looking to explore the North Rim, this is the perfect place to start and finish the day. Just a short drive to the rim from a lovely home base. Quiet, beautiful setting to start or finish the day. Clean, comfortable, charming accomodations. Host was quick to provide information about the area. This is what my husband and I like to call a "do againer".
