«It was a dream. I was so sad to leave and cannot wait to be back. Dimitri, Eva + Co. were wonderful welcomimg hosts and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are clean spacious filled with elegance and absolutely breathtaking views that make you feel peace the moment you walk in. It was quiet at night and we slept so deeply because of the ambience and warm energy of the house. Amazing history, character and a grand gorgeous historical house and garden. You feel like royalty ...

rett ved sjøen og omgitt av nydelig fjelllandskap.
Utenfra ser hotellet veldig bra ut med typisk gammel stil.
Når en kommer inn oppdager en fort at hotellet har behov for kraftig oppgradering -
både med hensyn til stil
og pga slitasje.
Det samme gjelder
selve rommet og badet.
Begge hadde grei størrelse, alt fungerte og var godt rengjort, men i gammel
og slitt stil.

«We stayed at the Kames while exploring the area which is so beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated in an idyllic setting. The food was superb, especially the homemade steak pie! The Scottish Breakfast is the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hotel.»

«Our room was very warm. Heater was on when we arrived. Turned it off & opened windows but it took a couple hours to cool room down. Table fan helped. Pictures of bathrooms in website showed that there were very spacious. But in fact our bathroom quite small. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into town. Overall the hotel was pleasant & staff very accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful & good.»
«Hotellet er et helt greit. Normal engelsk standard med tepper og noe gammelt interiør. Internettet er tregt og ustabilt. Området er noe avlegs. Dettar ca 20 min å gå inn til sentrum av Helensburgh. Frokosten er typisk engelsk med egg, bacon og bønner, og toast. De ansatte er veldig hyggelige og immøtekommende.»
«Our stay at the Lodge was short. I wished it was longer. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were amazing. We had dinner in the dining room. It was delicious. Service was good. Wine was a bit pricey. Breakfast was included in our stay. We had choices of continental or hot menu.
Before and after our stay I messaged the hotel and they were prompt in answering my questions.»
