I am giving them a 3 only because I feel they are having grown pains as a newly opened resort. Dinner was to long of await and not enough choices honestly. The buffets were fine. The room was clean but some things didn’t look “new”. The staff is extremely friendly and I give them a 4. Our butler was amazing and very responsive. He was with us even at check out with us to make sure we were all good! The beach was great. Love the beach huts. The shows were ok with the last day of our stay being the best as they had a great Mexican celebration with great food and entertainment. I really would like to go back and give it a second chance after being opened a while.

Beautiful resort with top-notch food—we tried everything and were never disappointed. The staff are amazing, hardworking, and incredibly accommodating. The resort even has a dedicated chef for dietary restrictions. Our butler, Oscar, truly went above and beyond. He was on top of everything and surprised us throughout our stay, including special touches for our anniversary. The nightly shows were great, and Mexican Night was AWESOME. I loved that only two restaurants required reservations—it made dinners stress-free and easy to walk in anywhere. The beach was beautiful, the room was spacious, and we loved having two washrooms. The oceanfront swim-up had a gorgeous view and easy swim-out access. The only downside of the entire trip was that the pools were cold—otherwise, absolute perfection. Thank you to Oscar and all the Majestic Mirage employees who made this trip truly memorable.

Still largely under construction. Food/service was good. Entertainment team was great. Our room still had construction materials inside. A/C was not consistent, wifi/phone was down for 2 days. Our Butler wasnt great, said he had 20+ rooms at once and was not very reachable. Asked for pillows, aromatherapy, & a banner for our door 4 times and it was never delivered. Lots of room for growth at the resort, Elegance next door is still our favorite

We truly had a wonderful stay during our 6 days from Jan 11th-17th. We traveled with our adult children and had 2 ocean front swim out rooms. The rooms were stunning, and our oceanfront swim-out rooms did not disappoint. What stood out most was the incredible staff — everyone was warm, attentive, and welcoming. Our butler, Lalo, was absolutely amazing and made our experience extra special. The service and accommodations together made this an unforgettable stay. We also very much enjoyed the food at all of the restaurants. The last night of our stay was Mexican night in the cinco de mayo plaza. It was a very fun evening with great food, wonderful service and entertainment! The beach was beautiful and the water, warm enough to swim in. The only cons would be the lack of a central pool and the pools being too cold for this time of year. We used our patio jacuzzis quite a bit. We will definitely be returning to the Majestic Mirage. We have stayed at the Valentin, Excellence and Secrets and would rank this resort at the top of the list.

Amazing resort, delicious buffets and restaurants, great alcohol selection at bars, very fine sand. The pool could use some heating. Probably due to its recency, the hotel’s wait staff is still adjusting and the service was inconsistant (ex. not receiving specialty coffee until the end of breakfast, forgetting orders or to take orders).

The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were clean and stocked up with refreshments and water. The shower drain was not working properly, and water was running out of the shower stall into the bathroom. reported it, never got fixed,

We had a great time! Resort isn't completely finished yet, but the food, staff and beach are absolutely amazing. Our room was huge (Mirage Club 1 Bedroom) with 2 full bathrooms! Jose Baez our server at the pool was the absolute best. Waterpark looks super fun too!

New resort hiccups. Water stains, broken jacuzzi, online menus didn't match actual menus they could deliver. Music was so loud we couldn't talk during dinner in the plaza. Kids were walking around with their hands covering their ears! That all being said- the staff were amazing and very helpful! They turned the music down, fixed our jacuzzi, they never looked like they were expecting a tip, and the food was above average at all times. The beach was lovely. Always a chair available. Drink lines were non existent. Though they default the drinks to levels that I find too sweet-- not the bartenders' fault. The have a bunch of premixes they use-- and either they're just cheap mixes and use too much sugar or they don't adjust the recipes by taste when making them every day. Bartenders were apologetic when I asked for them to make things less sweet. Also, I think the bottles alcohol was watered down. I had a few things straight for sipping and they didn't burn as much typical. Though that could just be my imagination. I will probably come back.

We stayed at the Majestic Mirage in Costa Mujeres from January 4–11 during the resort’s soft opening and were very happy with our experience. Knowing it would be a quieter time, we actually enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere even more. Our room was fantastic: a two-level suite with a private upper deck, plunge pool, and a lounger that was perfect for a few fabulous naps (purely for research purposes). We were understanding of the finishing work still underway and felt it was handled very well. The staff truly made our stay special. Our butler, Laura, quickly took care of a couple of small issues and even decorated our room to make us feel extra special. The bartenders, especially Jesus and Christian at Bar Taka, were excellent, as were the team at Legends Sports Bar. From restaurant staff and room attendants to the construction workers, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready with a smile and a “hola.” We felt genuinely well cared for. We had several great meals, with the teppanyaki dinner being a highlight. Chef Gerry was amazing, and we felt lucky to have the experience to ourselves. Christian and Alejandro took wonderful care of us that evening. The nightly shows were fun, the beverages were great (especially at Bar Taka), the ice cream was hard to resist, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. As our first trip to Mexico, this was a very positive and memorable experience. I could say more, but I will simply say this: we will definitely be back!

This is NOT a five star. And the prices that they are advertising make it even LESS than a five star. We were at the resort for three nights in January and were very surprised and disappointed with the food quality and options. I want to give the resort "grace" as they were just opening but the disappointments were in "basic" amenities like soda options and not having straws? However. it did deliver on the two things I wanted. A fabulous beach and our ocean front plunge pool view. PERFECT.

Thanks, Tete for the great support throughout our stay. You made our stay so nice and smooth. The check-in was smooth and the room we got was great, no issues and we had two roller beds (four adults). The reason for the four stars is the new year eve and Indian restaurant services. Clearly the resort is understaffed and not prepared for this soft opening. Some issues also still pending like shaky tables, and ice cold pools! Overall, we enjoyed our stay although we had some incidents with rude staff at the Marketplace and Indian restaurants on the 31st and January 1st dinners.

The hotel is beautiful, the food is delicious, everything is super clean. The butler assigned to us, named Teran, simply made our stay so much better; everything was perfect thanks to him. All the bartenders were always very friendly and served us with a smile, but the bartender at the lobby bar on the lower level was simply the best—he made delicious cocktails. And what can I say about the restaurants? Absolutely delicious. Last but not least, the entertainment staff brightened our days with their charisma and enthusiasm, and the girls at the kids' club were super nice and attentive; my children adored them. I will definitely return.

I was surprised (and not in the best way) about this property and stay. I'll start with the positives that its located next to the Majestic Elegance that I had the pleasure of staying at and it was by far one of the best experiences I had in Cancun. So when we arrive at the Mirage my expectations were high but were let down. It took us an hour almost to be checked in as we arrived at the check in time of 4p. The room we received was considered an upgrade but the swim out we thought we were getting was really a plunge pool, that did not have a privacy wall and everyone walk-in past could just walk into our space. The food was not as flavorful, the property still look like it was under construction and the greenery looked dead and unkept. Our butler service was a nice touch but we mostly did everything on our own. There was no perk to having an Adult only side because it was a good mixture of children at the bars and the restaurants near them. Upon our check out we overheard a couple debating about their experience and partial refund. I do agree while the place is listed as a 5 star it gave 3 stars at best. I usually have photos from all our trips but because of the experience I chose not to capture any because we were not completely satisfied. What I can commend is the staff was very nice and I hope Majestic continues to support them because I know this transition and opening isn't the best experience for all involved.

We stayed at this property from Dec 27-Jan 2. It had just opened 3 weeks prior and in my opinion, it should not be open for another 6 months to 1 year. We encountered so many issues I cannot in good faith recommend this resort to anyone. Even basic amenities such as having towels for the pool/beach were not met. Every day was a constant search for towels. We had to change rooms once because of the ongoing construction and jackhammers in the morning. The tables in the Seaside Cafe were all broken and wobbly. We made a dinner reservation online for New Year's Eve which was accepted and then when we got there, the restaurant was closed. The pool in our 5th floor suite overflowed to our balcony below. They assign each guest a butler which sounds great in theory but unfortunately I can't name a single thing he did for us. Food was pretty good, lots of cabanas and the property itself is beautiful but they are so not a 5 star hotel. Don't stay here!

The property is practically new, so there’s still a lot of dust and dirt this needs to be cleaned. The pools are freezing cold. Some of the waiters were incredibly rude. The restaurant food was below average and the buffets weren’t opened for dinner. It also took us over 2 hours to be checked in after spending 9 hours to get to Cancun. Disorganized and unprofessional.
