Corvallis Paradise
This was the perfect set up, just 5 minutes from OSU. The home is on a serene, quiet Christmas tree farm. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our host who was just as welcoming to us as to our dog. The home is clean, cozy, and well appointed. We will be back for sure!

Loved the property and location
Our daughter is a student at OSU and this property is perfect for our family to visit and reconnect. Great proximity to the school, large enough space for us and our dog and a well appointed kitchen. Dale is a kind and thoughtful host and we have already booked our next stay.

Perfect!

A Place That Feels Like Home
We totally enjoyed our stay. The apartment was roomy, bright and clean. We enjoyed the garden views from the living room and dining room! We loved sitting on the patio and taking in the view of the Christmas trees as well as the hills in the distance. We walked the tractor paths through the farm. As a bonus we got to tour Dale’s pottery studio!

Spacious and peaceful
The view of the garden from the flat is gorgeous! We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable in this space. It was not an issue for us, but we did notice that there was no oven in the kitchen. We plan to be back!

Glad you enjoyed your stay. It is true, we are not allowed to have a cooking stove in the flat. That is a county regulation. The grill outside, induction hot plate, electric griddle micro wave etc. are there for guest use. We have cooked pies and turkeys for guests in our oven upstairs! Sorry for the inconvenience. Close to Oregon State U
The property was well appointed for guests with everything we needed. 2 suggestions: a phone number for the host should be readily available in the guest book. We wanted to call him to say we were leaving early on account of one of us having Covid. We didn't want to knock on his door upstairs because we wanted to not expose him, but we couldn't find a phone number in any of the paperwork online or in the house. Secondly, for those of us sensitive to strong scents, I would suggest using a non fragrance laundry detergent and NO dryer sheets. The smell of the bedding was overpowering. Also it would be good to sweep out the steps leading to the second bedroom which has no windows so that the glass door is the only source of daylight. The steps are the only place on the property that doesn't look inviting. Otherwise it was really fun to explore all the unique ceramics and decorative art inside and out. Thanks so much!

Celebration Week
We stayed at this lovely property a total of four nights, the hosts were welcoming and friendly. We were traveling for my sons graduation and needed a quiet place with room for our dogs. The tree farm is lovely and the landscaping around the flat was beautiful to look at and explore. The surrounding neighborhood was also peaceful and quiet. We were traveling in an electric vehicle and were so pleased to find a charger attached to the flat. Lovely stay.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Had a quick weekend trip to Oregon State and this was the perfect place to stay. Easy to get to, conveniently located to downtown and the university, beautiful grounds and the property was exactly as described and fit our needs. We'll be visiting again in the summer and hope to stay here again.

Charming, fully stocked home
From the rows of Christmas trees to the giant oaks, this place has a magical feel to it. Lots of space inside and out. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. They responded quickly to any questions or requests and were happy to work with us to get checked in a few hours early. Location is just a couple minutes from OSU or a couple more to downtown.

We loved our stay in this cozy, charming flat. We felt like we were in the country, but had the conveniences of town just minutes away. The garden is lovely and our dog enjoyed exploring the grounds with our hosts' dog. We will definitely return on our next trip to Corvallis.

Best pet friendly experience
A wonderful location, close to OSU but you feel like your in the country. Our dog had the best time romping with Luke the standard poodle that lives there. Super clean and beautiful and comfortable accommodation. Would highly recommend staying there. Hope we can return some day.

Great hosts & perfect getaway
Dale & his daughter Audrey were wonderful hosts. It felt like staying with an unobtrusive relative (is that an oxymoron?). The space is on the bottom level of the home which sits on a Christmas tree farm. Dale’s art is sprinkled throughout, with his pottery studio on the property as well. Everything you need for a quick getaway is available, including coffee, WiFi, two bedrooms, a washer & dryer, etc. We’ll definitely be staying here again when visiting DD at OSU.

Nice Relaxing Stay
We stayed at this beautiful tree farm while moving our son into Oregon State. Home was clean and well maintained. We loved all the beautiful pieces of art in the space as well as the beautiful gardens surrounding the home. It is a very creative space with a beautifully crafted patio as well. We had a lovely visit with Dale and toured his ceramics studio. We would stay here again.

Great Stay

If you’re looking for a stay that’s soul infused this is it. The daylight basement is quiet, the hosts warm and welcoming, and the property has an overall artistic flair with gorgeous gardens to look out on. One of the best stays we’ve had.

Artistic & Enjoyable Accommodation
We stayed in the Contemporary Flat which is located on the bottom floor of Dale & Peggy's home. It is a beautiful unit, fully self-contained, very well-equipped, clean, and pleasant to be in. The views out the windows are of beautifully-kept gardens, and inside there are many art pieces of interest as well as pottery pieces done by Dale himself. The accommodation was quiet, the Donovans were friendly and helpful (yet non-intrusive) hosts, and we enjoyed our stay very much!

What a fantastic property, beautiful and peaceful. It's lovely and quiet. The location is amazing, just a short walk to hike Bald Hill and 7 minutes to downtown restaurants, shops and the Farmer's Market. Beautiful property. convenient to OSU
We were in town for OSU graduation and Dale's property was exactly what we needed. The house and surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed morning runs through the hills. Dale showed us his studio, and the house we stayed in was filled with his artwork. I wish we had more time to explore his property and tree farm, the surroundings were so lovely. Highly recommended, would stay here again.

Terrific place to gather as a family!
We really had a lovely visit and would absolutely consider staying with Dan And Peggy again. We were close to everything but felt like we were out on the edge of town in the country side. Sitting within a Christmas Tree farm was really beautiful. Place was very clean and the beds (including fold out couch) were super comfortable. Dan and Peggy were easy to communicate with and went out of their way to be helpful. For example, when we arrived to checkin with a pie and cobbler that needed to be baked, they not only baked them for us, but did them one each day and delivered them to our door around the time we wanted them. The lack of an oven threw us for a moment but was not a problem in the end. We had a lovely bbq dinner on the patio Saturday night. The bbq had a burner as well as a hot plate inside. Next time we are going to come prepared to try out the Traeger Smoker.

Cute place great location!
We will definitely come back to Dale and Peggy’s Place! We used it as a base to move our son into OSU five minutes away. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very large with plenty of towels and soaps.We made a great meal with the Traeger smoker and grill. We loved being able to bring our dog who played with their poodle wonderfully. They allowed us to entertain our sons friends for a dinner. It is connected to the couples main house but they were wonderful hosts and very respectful of our privacy. They made great suggestions for activities shopping and restaurants. Seamless check in and check out. We will definitely go again.

Good location, lovely grounds. There isn't a full kitchen so only light cooking.

Hidden gem
This place is a hidden gem... Close to town, but surrounded by nature. The flat was cozy and a wonderful retreat. Owners are wonderful... I can't wait to go back for another visit!

Best location to enjoy Corvallis
We enjoyed our stay at Donovan‘s. We lived in Corvallis for over five years and came back to visit friends. I knew the area well and knew that it would be a good spot to have friends over but also be able to get quickly to downtown. To enjoy the farmers market and all the shopping that Corvallis has to offer. Also enjoyed it being pet friendly and plenty of space for our dog to run. Had a good nights sleep the entire time we were there. It had everything we needed
