«A very charming and unique place to stay. The hotel is set in a former convent that has been beautifully converted while retaining much of its original character. The former nuns’ rooms have been transformed into comfortable, clean and pleasant guest rooms, making the experience quite special.
The main downside is the lack of soundproofing. Conversations in the corridors can be heard very clearly from inside the rooms, which can become frustrating when other guests are not particularly ...

«The property, the location, the rooms and the facilities were all very nice. The food was great too. Service was ok and at checkout we realized they had overcharged us for various things. We felt it was slightly overpriced overall and would likely not stay there again.»

«El hotel está bien en general. Bien situado.

«I stayed 3 nights, room was cleaned every day.
Great quiet spot to base out of if you are traveling around Alentejo.
The town is very cute and there are lots of beaches in each town around the alqueva. It is worth driving around for a day to see all the small villages. There are some great food options around town as well.
I did not eat breakfast here but they do have a Continental breakfast area.»

«The hotel has good facilities, but our experience was terrible. The app used for assistance and access simply does not work properly. We had to wait about 40 minutes outside in the sun because the app would not allow us to enter the hotel. It was an extremely unpleasant and frustrating situation that completely spoiled our experience, despite the hotel’s good facilities.»

«Exceptional hotel beautifully located in nature. Modern facility which provides great insight into local culture and cuisine. A great base for exploring Alentejo. Great food at the restaurant with meals rooted in local dishes. Nice spa facilities. Although there are not enough superlatives to describe the place, the real gem here is the staff. Kind, polite and attentive.
The hotel is extremely child friendly, perfect for families with children. This, however, can be a downside for those without ...

«Annex rooms are comfortable, with good countryside views when one sits outside. Air conditioning aids good sleep & one can park the car outside the room close by. EV charging points for 2 cars are available & one pays per minute charged, which encourages swift change to allow other ev owners to charge. Breakfast buffet is good, with a decent variety. Coffee & orange juice could be improved. Service is excellent and most helpful. There are hiking possibilities around the convent, with marked ...
