The property was clean and conveniently located near the pool and beach, which were the main positives of our stay. Beyond that, we found the listing somewhat misleading and lacking in several areas. One of our biggest frustrations was the elevator. It is pictured in the listing, leading us to believe it was available for guest use. Upon arrival, we discovered it was labeled as an owner’s closet and inaccessible to guests. We were traveling with a grandmother who has significant difficulty with stairs, making this a major hardship throughout our stay. The listing also shows beach towels in the photos, but none were provided. We traveled with two families and five young children, and compared to other family-friendly rentals, this home was not well equipped. There were little to no toys, only one set of silicone plates and bowls, and no non-slip grips in the bathtub.About a week before arrival, we received a message stating that only the first day’s worth of supplies would be provided. Unfortunately, I missed it, resulting in multiple trips to the store for basics like dish soap and trash bags. Finally, pool chemicals were added around 5:15 p.m. on a Friday evening, making the pool inaccessible for 30–45 minutes during a peak time when multiple families, including ours, were trying to swim.Overall, while the property was clean and in a great location, the misleading photos and lack of amenities made our stay less comfortable than expected.
