  • SUNDAY CHECK IN - 4 HJEMDRIVET KRAV - EKSTRA FEE FOR LINNER OG HANDLEVARER - ca 6. 5 miles opp 4x4 stranden

    Vær blant de første gjestene til å bruke utendørsteleskopet i dette nydelige halvøya (2. rad) hjem, som ligger i en rolig del av 4x4-stranden. Ligger bare 7 miles nord for enden av den harde veien og ligger mellom to dyreliv bevarer, vil skuldrene falle så snart du trekker inn. Serenity på denne delen av stranden er fantastisk. Se dønningene fra pent lager kjøkken i denne omvendte planløsning hjem. Du kan også se noen brune pelikaner fly forbi mens du nipper til kaffen. Tilbring morgenen på den i verandaen å se på ville hester. Du kan også få øye på rever, kaniner, hjort eller svarte griser. (De er her, men er unnvikende!) Wildlife abounds på stranden også med alle slags fugler og fisk, skalldyr og bløtdyr. Avskalling er en favoritt tidsfordriv, og ikke minst fiske og bading. Bånd kjæledyr er tillatt på stranden, så du kan ta med hunden din og nyte dagen. Sette opp er enkelt, siden du vil være i stand til å ta utstyret ditt til stranden i bilen. Du kan til og med parkere på stranden og bruke den som en base for drift, men for tiden vurderer Currituck County en $ 50 per parkeringsavgift! Glemt noe? ... Ingen bekymringer, siden huset ligger bare noen skritt unna.

    Alt er bedre på stranden, inkludert å sove! To av de tre soverommene har minne skum queen size-senger, flatskjerm smart TV og privat tilgang til andre nivå dekk. Det tredje soverommet har en flatskjerm smart tv og en duo-køyeseng (dobbeltseng lavere og dobbeltseng øvre, også minne skum). Dette hjemmet har god plass til en liten familie, men vil også passe for et par som bare trenger å komme vekk fra det hele.

    Hvis du ikke er kjent med Carova Beach, vil du bli fortryllet med spenningen av å kjøre på stranden, vitne dyrelivet i sitt naturlige habitat og være atskilt fra massene. Eller kanskje du allerede vet hvordan spennende det er å våkne opp til pounding surfe, knegge hester og utsiktene til en annen vakker dag på stranden. Det er en opplevelse for livet ... gjøre det enda mer spesielt med et avslappende opphold på Weathervane.
    Du må ha en "firehjulstrekk" (4x4) kjøretøy for å få tilgang til dette hjemme.

House is perfect, had everything we needed. Views are beautiful an had ponies on property daily. Having the pool was really nice too. The beach was amazing and water crystal clear. Can't wait to come back.

We loved our time at the Weathervane. The house was very nice and stocked with everything we needed. The location was amazing and we really appreciated the quick walk to the beach. We saw so many wild horses during our stay and the people in the immediate area were extremely friendly. My only complaint were the annoying biting flies on our last beach day. Definitely bring bug spray or you’ll get eaten alive

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time at the Weathervane! The house was perfectly set up for our family of five. The views were amazing from the decks and from windows in all the rooms. We all enjoyed the large porches (even the dogs) horses passed by every day pretty much either by the house or on the beach. The beach was easily accessible from the house walking or driving. Pool was nice and refreshing after the hot beach days. Rooms were clean and kitchen had everything we needed. It definitely fit all our needs and wants. We would definitely stay again! There really is no house next to you as well when your enjoying your pool, so it’s nice and private as well ( your not sharing a backyard with anyone else over a fence or anything) which is a nice bonus.

Great place for the family

Reviewer Comments: Very nice house, easy walk to beach, nice pool, MUST HAVE 4 wheel drive WITH GOOD CLEARANCE. We watched car after car, and trucks get stuck going over dune to street. Remember house is a little further down beach. House is well equipped. We did find previous tenants box with dirty dishes and snacks in kids closet. Pool service was performed, but did not put any water in pool, which seemed a little low by end of week. Overall, great house and we saw horses about everyday. Horses even found us while we were at the beach. We would definitely stay again!

Best Property Rental!!!

My husband and I stayed here for my 30th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed everything The Weathervane had to offer!!!! So much so, we added an extra night to our stay upon our arrival. The pool was amazing! The location was perfect! The house was clean and well maintained! We had many horse encounters on the property at all hours of the day. I still can’t believe this was available for us to book a last minute trip but we are so thankful and don’t think there could’ve been a better house for our 5 night getaway! We will definitely be back!!

Great Location

This was our first time to stay on the 4x4 beach. The house is in a great location and was just perfect for what we needed. The house was clean and orderly. The A/C quit working on the second floor while we were there. We contacted the property manager and she scheduled the repair very quickly. Thank you for a great week!

We really didn’t know what to expect about the access on the beach, but after arriving and figuring everything out it was pretty simple. It is definitely on of the most relaxing and family orientated trips we have ever had. We didn’t wear shoes for days, we were constantly walking in sand.

Yes sea creatures ( a school of rays, dolphins, crabs, and ?? shark). Our location was superb (easy walk to beach, beautiful sunrise and sunset views from deck, and wild horses seen from deck). It was easy riding on the beach. The house was beautiful inside and out. Enjoyed the pool. Definitely will return.

Excellent home, very clean and well equipped

This was our second stay in 4x4. This home had more tour traffic. Also, more ATV/UTV and someone had an old dune buggy that was loud. House located further up the beach than our previous stay, but meant less “crowded” beach. For those of you not use to a well there is an odor to the water and not a lot of pressure. Overall home was very nice and well stocked for stay. Side screened in porch was great with fans and breeze. We did see a group of 3 horses most nights and our final night they grazed in the side and backyard.

Laura at Corova Cottages was so attentive, and sweet! She was available whenever I had a question, and made me feel so welcomed. Everything was clean, and tidy. The views were amazing. Wild Spanish horses all around the house almost every day. Everyone was so friendly. My husband and I hope rlto be back sooner than later. Thank you again! ❤️

My wife and I chose it to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary and could not have booked a more perfect location! 🙂 The wild horses stopped by almost everyday - an absolute treat to just watch them from both the second & third floor decks. The screened in porch off the living room is THE spot to watch the sunset. We were wowed by a different, awe inspiring sunset each evening. ⛅️ The owners are fantastic! They are very quick to reply and very friendly. The Weathervane has newer appliances, a very well appointed kitchen and fantastic water quality for the 4x4 area. We will 100% be back!

First time I’ve stayed anywhere that there wasn’t toilet paper. Everything else was great. The Fully stocked kitchen was great.

We love to cook so I really appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and appliance you could possibly need (no Keurig, but there is a standard coffeemaker). The screened in deck area catches the breeze in the morning and evening and is almost always shady, great for coffee in the morning and dinner at night. There is a group of horses that hangs out in this neighborhood and they were in the yard and in the slightly wooded lot next door every morning. This house is a cozy little gem and we will be back. Don't hesitate to book it. I enjoyed working with Laura and David at Carova Cottages at well. They were professional and very helpful.
