«The owner was super friendly and seemed to really care about his guests. The staff was eager to please and the room was comfortable. This hotel is minutes from the East entrance of Yellowstone and close to Lamar Valley for those seeking to see or photograph wildlife. As a wildlife photographer, I will be booking here in the future as my base camp for exploring more of Yellowstone. Thanks again to the staff for making our stay an enjoyable experience.»

«Nice propertty. Store is nice. Everything was supplied and clean. Location is beautiful and just outside the NE gate to Yellowstone. I booked through expedia, and it was a few months ago, but i don't remember anything about a cleaning fee. I am even OK with the fee if i was aware of it. Only other issue was there was still no cell service and the cabins do not have wifi. Some people prefer this. There is wifi at the store and is free.»

«We had a great time while staying here. Nice clean property. Just minutes from the park where we saw countless animals. Even woke up to a moose in the yard one morning. The only thing I can say bad is that it is a little hard to find if you arrive after dark. I would recommend this property to anyone and if I come to Yellowstone again I will try to book this place»

«A great location to access the Beartooth Mountains and surrounding Shoshone National Forest. Loved the yurt, very cozy and comfortable. A great place to return to each day after a beautiful hike to the high mountain lakes on the Beartooth Plateau. Nan and Brian were very friendly and super helpful with information about the area. I highly recommend staying here.»

«Beautiful View and Quite atmosphere. Friendly Staff! I wish we would have known that one door leads to 2 rooms per cabin. I rented 2 rooms but ended up in different cabins as my kids. My kids shared a cabin with another couple, but my kids said they and their dogs were nice and only barked a little.»

«The property was very remote, i thought there would be cell phone service at the property. The owners did provide a phone which allowed us to communicated with family members. The cabin was clean with adequate supplies of basic food to get one by until you could purchase your own products. «Cabin was very cozy and comfortable. We had plenty of room for 2 couples with 2 bedrooms to spare. It was nice to come back to a warm house after full days out, make our own meals and relax, especially since we had snow and rain for much of our stay. Location is perfect for accessing the northeastern part of the park. I would definitely stay there again if plans permit.»

«The cabin was nice. It has a kitchenette, so preparing meals was convenient. Cooke City is a very small town, with no cell service, and limited eateries and supplies. So we brought all of our food, including meals that we premade, and just heated up. We came to watch the wildlife in the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park, and Cooke City is minutes away from the East end of the park. Which is a big plus. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, it was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay ...

«It was adequate for our purpose. Very close to the NE entrance to Yellowstone. My only suggestions is a better place to put garbage after it’s full. Leaving it outside attracted some of the community wandering dogs. Also seating for the patio such as fold up chairs would have been nice. The interior is ok but could use some updating. Yet, in our case we were not there much of the time so what is there was sufficient.»
