«We LOVED this little house! It was perfect for our long weekend getaway. We jumped on our bikes and rode down to the KATY Trail each morning and drove into Hermann for lunch, wine and live music in the afternoon. We cooked at the house a couple of evenings. It was an wonderful experience. Thank you for such a charming and thoughtfully appointed home!»

«A very relaxing laid back atmosphere! We loved the whole property. The vintage touches to the house were fun. We enjoyed being so near the river and also liked seeing the occasional train go by. We had a nice evening spent around the fire pit after my son's Mizzou graduation. This was a great place for our family to celebrate our son's graduation.»

«Let me first say that the house was adorable, clean and had comfy beds. The deck has 2 locking gates for kids or privacy and was spacious. I worked outside on my laptop 2 days and enjoyed the lake and gentle breeze. It was nice to have real toilet paper and full size toiletries (I brought my own but it was a nice touch). Now….. I was alone while my kids were at church camp nearby and was a bit nervous the first nights and at times. The drive is several miles down a few diff gravel roads to ...

«The lower level flooded twice during a 4 night stay. Per owner, blamed on female personal products being flushed. Not our issue during our stay. Lighting didn't work in dining room or family room. Most window cranks were broken so couldn't open windows. If crank worked, no screen. Bed still broken per previous review so not usable. Informed grill was usable. No tank of gas available but owner replaced when asked. Grill and area needed cleaning. Halloween candy found by grill...May rental! ...

«First time to visits Hermann for all 3 of us, and we couldn't have asked for a better time! The accommodations were wonderful, and we loved the charm of the house. Our favorite spot was hanging out in the wine cellar. Highly recommended by all of us!»
