Well-Stocked, Family Friendly Home on the Westside

This 4bd/2ba home is located on a 1/2 an acre with stunning views of Pikes Peak! Enjoy cooking in the updated kitchen with beautiful mountain views. Unwind in front of the large screen TV in the family room, or take a zoom meeting from the designated workspace. Outside you will find a cozy circle of outdoor seating, the perfect spot for your morning coffee! Traveling with kids? They will love our newly constructed playhouse!

The main floor features original wood floors throughout. Natural sunlight pours through the large window in the living room and dining area. In the well-appointed kitchen, you will find everything you need to make a home cooked meal, including small appliances, cookware and a variety of spices. The king bedroom, queen bedroom, and full size bath complete the first floor.

Make your way downstairs to a find a cozy family room perfect for a movie night-in. Larger groups will be pleased to find that the sofa easily converts to an additional queen-sized bed! The large laundry room is complete with an iron, garment steamer and folding table. You will find two additional bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds. All of our beds have supportive memory foam mattresses, so you can get a restful night`s sleep! A second full bathroom completes the basement.

In addition to the outstanding views of Pikes Peak, you will also likely get a glimpse of Colorado wildlife while enjoying the spacious yard. Majestic wild deer and adorable rabbits make frequent visits to the space. There is a private driveway where you will have plenty of room to park two vehicles as well.

Guests have access to the entire property and the driveway located on the left side of the house.

We strive to give our guests as much privacy as possible during their stay. Occasionally you may see our gardener or someone stopping by to move the trash cans for pickup. If you’re experiencing any issues or just have a question during your stay, we will be available to assist you. Please don`t hesitate to send us a message on the app.

Located on a quiet, residential cul-de-sac, the back of the home is nestled up against an open area with unobstructed views. Everything you need is available to you within minutes, including downtown, Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City and more! The I-25 freeway is just around the corner making your day trip to Denver or Boulder a breeze!

Clean and cute place to stay

This property was excellent! Space for kids to be kids both in their downstairs space and outside! The house may not be huge but feels very spacious. We had 4 adults and two kids and never felt like we were on top of each other inside the home. We wished check in was a little earlier in the day, but would be back regardless. There is lots of fun wildlife to see right on the property too, felt like snow whites weekend hideaway! Loved it… very convenient location too.

Fantastic Stay!!

This is a wonderful property - probably the best short term rental we've ever stayed in. The house was immaculate, and it was clear the hosts had anticipated every need of guests - plenty of extra blankets and towels, simple instructions, and an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen. It was the first time we've said we'd like to come back to the exact same place. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a great visit. Cute bi-level home. Kitchen had lots of dishes/pots/pans and little touches like plastic wrap and foil. Plenty of towels, blankets, toiletries, etc.

Wonderful stay in Colorado Springs

Our family of 6 stayed here for 5 days and it was so nice! Check in was a breeze and it doesn’t take hours to complete checkout. Had a minor plumbing issue and Greta was very prompt in responding. She worked quickly to get someone out same day and all was fixed and cleaned up before we even got back to the house for the day! It was a relief to know that Greta was doing everything she could to make sure our stay was everything we wanted it to be. This house is cozy and we all felt like we were Home there. And when they say “well-stocked” they are NOT kidding! We wanted for nothing and they had thought of many things that get left behind regularly. We planned daily adventures for our family and were pleased to find out they were all only between 20 minutes to about an hour away. This home is centrally located and convenient to get to and from. We really had the best time and couldn’t have found a better place to call home for the week! Highly recommend and will stay here again in the future.

Wonderful home in convenient location

My family of 5 stayed here in July and everyone thought it was great. The host is exceptional and has thought of every little thing - even phone chargers on the bedside tables! It is very clean, beautifully decorated, and (as the listing says) is truly well-stocked with everything we needed. The location is very convenient to Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, and I-25. It is on a cul-de-sac and is very quiet. From the back of the house, you can see Pikes Peak! The check-in and check-out process was very easy and the host was great at communicating with us during our stay if we had questions. She even put her cell # in a binder to welcome guests to the house, with local information on things to do, restaurant suggestions, and other local tips. Definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to Colorado Springs!

Great family space to gather for USAFA GRADUATION

Greta was a wonderful host and her little house looking out at Pikes Peak was the perfect gathering place for family as we came to The Springs for our sons USAFA graduation. Super clean. Smelled good. Great amenities! Plenty of space and super comfy beds for 9!

Best Vacation Ever

Would recommend to others

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this property. The home looks exactly as pictured and included all of the neccessities (shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are all in the showers, toilet paper is stocked, kitchen had everything we needed as well). The view of Pikes Peak from the backyard and kitchen window are really nice. We did a lot of excursions in the area, most within a 20 min drive, and took a day trip for rafting and to the Royal Gorge. We never ran out of hot water despite running back-to-back showers and we had plenty of towels. The laundry area was a nice bonus as there are two washers and two driers so we were able to quickly run through our laundry and a do a load of towels (laundry soap and fabric softener were available as well). The lower level family room was perfect for us to hang out in and watch a movie one evening too. If you are traveling with a larger group than 5, I would just note that the bathrooms are small with very limited counter space and there are not mirrors in any of the bedrooms. So, if you need more space to do hair/make-up while others are showering, then bring a mirror with you. Host was friendly and checked in with us too.

The house was very well stocked with everything a person might need in a lovely older neighborhood. The access to popular sights and restaurants makes this location ideal. The backyard seating area is a perfect reading spot.

Well kept Great spot to explore The Springs

The home is clean and well appointed. Lovely property and host. Check in and out and communication we’re all great. We especially enjoyed the Mountain View’s, playground and yard. Had a great family vacation in Colorado Springs. Lots to do and explore like The Garden of the Gods, Downtown Colorado Springs. Great parks and hiking and plenty of fun restaurants and bakeries to enjoy!

SPECTACULAR

Staying at this property was such a treat! The host was super patient and kind and generous with us, there are so many incredible amenities at the property, the view is breathtaking, adopt me and the kids had the most amazing time in the backyard on the playground. I highly recommend this property to anybody who’s wanting to stay in Colorado Springs, you will be more than comfortable and entertained!

A Great Place to Stay in Colo. Springs

Very comfortable, very quiet, very convenient, very clean, and very well equipped. The beautiful panorama out the back is the topping. It's a great house. Two living areas means the kids can occupy themselves downstairs and leave the adults to "visit" upstairs, which is what adults like to do when they've turned into their parents. The kitchen is generously stocked. It has everything one could need for the stay. We intend to stay here again when we return to Colorado Springs.

Wedding weekend

We had a wonderful stay. It had 4 bedrooms that were beautifully decorated and comfortable. One of the rooms had a king bed, two had a queen bed each and the last room had two single beds, also two bathrooms on property. I was very impressed on the attention to detail and how organized things were. The location was perfect and near everything we needed to get to, the neighborhood wasn’t the newest or fanciest but it worked for what we needed and I was pleasantly surprised because from the outside it doesn’t seem like much but it is exactly how it looks on the pictures on the inside. We had 6 ladies stay(bridal party and bride). The host was available and easy to contact.

Wonderful Home with convenient access to all Colorado Springs offers!

My family stayed here for over a week and enjoyed every part of the home. My wife, father in law, mother in law, children (10 mo, 5, 9, 11), and I fit easily into this space. The 2 sitting rooms were a blessing to allow different groups to space out and the bonus sitting area outside by the play set was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed too! Beyond the amazing interior and exterior spaces, the house was within minutes of so many attractions and locations! We will be back with this property next trip we take to Colorado Springs! Greta was wonderful to work with and communicated with us so quickly. Really a great experience.

Family Together for Wedding.

My son got married this past Thursday night & I am so thankful that I booked this glorious location before the Air Force graduation was announced & rates in the area skyrocketed. My mom, daughter, sister, her SO, nephew and his SO joined me in The Jefferson House. The sleeping arrangement was ideal & the beds were super firm which we all appreciated. We didn’t cook (coffee only), but the kitchen was well-supplied with pans & utensils. We did spend a lot of time at the table (and thankful for the extra chairs) playing cards. SO much great family fun! Others can trust that this is a very well-appointed rental - clean & ready for anyone to move in!
