Great location, lots of free parking, clean spacious (bath)room, nice mainstreet in walking distance with nice shops and restaurants, close to garden of the gods, close enough to pikes peak.

We were there for three days of climbing the incline. The Magnuson was clean and the staff very friendly...a quick drive to the incline makes this a perfect place to stay. Stayed twice and will stay again.

Hats off for the attendants at the front desk (sorry I did not get their names). There were super customer friendly at first encounter, making us feel right away at home. Other than that the price is affordable. Thank you for the awesome services. Tim.

As soon as we walked in, we got hit with Old Motel Smell. The housekeeping staff does their best, but you can only do so much with an old hotel. Also, the front desk guy was so clear about not allowing smoking or marijuana that he even grilled me about whether I vaped or not--gimme a break, dude. For all that, the people next door to us smoked pot outside their room and we got hit with it coming in our vent so strong I nearly gagged. They also said in the Google search that there were only two rooms left...yeah, right. The place was deserted. Big fat lie to create scarcity. There are so many other places to get lodging. You don't need the hassle here.

When I got in my room there was a clogged toilet with poop floating in it. Horrible. Never again.

Excellent stay.
Friendly front desk help and a fast check in. Room was clean, but chilly (heater was turned off). Lots of hot water and a very comfortable stay. Will return for certain during my next visit to Manitou springs.

As soon as we opened the door to our room we were hit with the overpowering smell of stale cigarettes. Then as we looked around the room we noticed the carpet and the fabric on the one chair was very dirty. The place needs a thorough cleaning. We ended up canceling the room and even though we ended up having to pay for our first night, it was worth it because there was no way we could have stayed in that room. As it is I am going to hear about this from my wife for the rest of my days. I do have to say that the young women working the desk was very friendly and understanding.

Nice place
Room was very good size. Needed a few minor maintenance issues like paint/caulking but nice room. There was an ant hill and ants by the hotub which was odd. Lots of parking. Nice place and near downtown.

The room was about what we expected for the price, no complaints there. The location is fantastic. The gentleman that checked us in late in the evening when we arrived (Eric) was friendly and patient with multiple tourist-type questions thrown at him. He gave great suggestions and our first night in town we had a blast at Armadillo Ranch listening to live music and enjoying a hometown bar feel.

Nice Hotel
Room was very clean and housekeeping cleaned the bath and replaced towels after the first night. The facility was quiet and well lighted after dark. The indoor pool looked great although I never used it. Check-in was smooth as reservations were confirmed. There was a wonderful Italian restaurant next door that I walked to, and it was delicious! Only complaint was the bed was not as comfortable as I expected, but this is subjective to personal perception. Overall experience was very good. I would use this Hotel again if I was in the area.

Breakfast area is really small, and can get pretty crowded. Best to get the food and go back to your room. Easy access to everything we wanted to see.

Get with the times - No MaryJane allowed
We picked this hotel for the pool, laundry and because they had a bathtub. The laundry was broken and my bathtub didnt work. An employedd fixed the tub but after a long week camping laundry was a must.
