The Space:

With a history tracing back to the Roaring Twenties, our Lake Michigan Retreat blends remarkable 1920s character with new renovations and coastal comfort. Long associated through local lore with having been built and owned by Al Capone, the home features elaborate woodwork sourced from two grand residences in Chicago’s historic Gold Coast, along with rich hardwood floors, intricate millwork, and beautifully preserved period details. Expansive windows frame stunning Lake Michigan views, while elegant gathering spaces and seven spacious bedrooms provide an exceptional setting for time together.



Outside, you'll have multiple private lakefront acres perched on the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. A spacious lawn and outdoor space invites everything from sunny afternoons by the water to dinner overlooking the lake and evenings gathered together beneath sunsets. Newly constructed stairs lead directly from the bluff down to 500+ feet of private beach, creating an extraordinary setting for swimming, shoreline walks, and long days with your toes in the sand.

The lower-level guest suite is accessed separately through its own private exterior entrance, providing additional privacy for guests staying in that portion of the home.

We strictly do not allow smoking or parties. Any weddings or events must be pre-approved prior to booking. There is a $10K minimum venue fee in addition to lodging for weddings.
